Gary Rowett

Some of the suggestions for alternatives to Pearson are laughable really. Rowett has his merits but would take NP over him without doubt.

Saw Darren Moore mentioned in here the other day?? Now I don't dislike him but come on.

Of that list Evatt looked interesting, going and strong work at Barrow before Bolton but definitely wouldn't be ready. With Barrow he got them albeit at Conference level playing really strong football and promoted back to the League.

Evidently heard something.

Would be quite funny in some ways , as he and the perpetual moaners club will have , I’d predict , a whole lot more to moan about,  if we get rid of NP and appoint Rowett

* Note - no response from the moaner

Moore has had a pretty good week, lost 4-0 at home to Cardiff & 4-1 today at Leeds.

Laughable suggestion.

Evatt would be absolutely mad to leave Bolton (who are 2nd) to work for an owner that has completely lost interest.

yes but realistically if SL got rid of Nige, what are the options available?

Personally, I've never been a big fan of Rowett. I remember him being mentioned in the past, and he just comes across as a depressive manager. He reminds me too much of McInnes or O'Driscoll and would be a negative appointment, boring football etc.

However, QPR sacking Ainsworth, might have SL thinking. Ainsworth done a great job at Wycombe, on a shoestring budget. His teams often play good football. QPR has been a disaster for him, but I have a feeling, he is the sort of manager that Lansdown would be tempted by. I'm not saying, I would want Ainsworth, but, I do think he will be one of the front runners, if SL decides to remove Pearson over the next few weeks.

Ainsworth teams ‘often play good football’

Really ?

Horrendous suggestion

Ainsworth’s record at QPR was W5 D4 L19.

Wycombe were relegated in his only season at Championship level under him.

”Good football?” They were a relentless long ball side who played no football at all. Their playoff final win v Oxford was anti-football at its peak.

I can’t tell if you’re on a wind up or serious, if it is the latter, then wow.
