Admin phantom Posted January 6 Admin Report Share Posted January 6 Over 850 players will compete in the 2024 PDC Qualifying Schools from January 8-14, with 30 Tour Cards on offer for players to secure a spot on the PDC circuit. Following a record-breaking World Darts Championship, the focus now switches to Milton Keynes' Marshall Arena and Wunderland in Kalkar, as players from around the globe set their sights on a coveted two-year Tour Card. Qualifying School will again feature concurrent events being staged in the UK and Germany, and is split into First Stage and Final Stage. A total of 27 players are exempt to the Final Stage at UK Qualifying School, with 21 players exempt to the Final Stage of European Qualifying School. Players exempt to the Final Stage include those who lost their Tour Cards at the end of 2023, along with a series of stars from the 2023 Challenge and Development Tour Orders of Merit. First Stage - which will take place from January 8-10 - will see further players up to a total of 128 in the UK and Europe respectively qualifying to compete in Final Stage from January 11-14. A total of 30 PDC Tour Cards will be on offer in Final Stage from January 12-15, with each of the daily winners in the UK and Europe receiving an automatic Tour Card. The remaining 22 Tour Cards will be allocated to players from the UK and European Q School Final Stage Orders of Merit, and split on a pro-rata basis of total participants in each region. Three-time World Champion John Part will headline the high-profile names in action during First Stage of UK Qualifying School, as the Canadian bids to roll back the years in Milton Keynes. Robert Thornton - a former World Grand Prix and UK Open champion - will also star, alongside former World Championship finalists Kevin Painter, Andy Hamilton and Mark Dudbridge. 2022 Women’s World Matchplay winner Fallon Sherrock will also feature in First Stage, as she bids to secure a PDC Tour Card for the first time in her career. Scotland's former World Cup of Darts winner John Henderson will enter at the Final Stage, as South African trailblazer Devon Petersen and 2019 World Cup runner-up Steve Lennon also aim to regain their professional status. Former Lakeside Champions Richie Burnett, Scott Waites and Scott Mitchell will also be among the Final Stage entrants, along with former World Youth Champions Ted Evetts and Bradley Brooks. Newly crowned WDF Champion Andy Baetens is among the entrants in First Stage of European Qualifying School, with the talented Belgian having featured on the European Tour circuit in 2023. Germany's former World Youth Champion Max Hopp - a winner of two PDC ranking titles - will be looking to return to the professional circuit, and he will be joined by his compatriots Nico Kurz, Niko Springer and Lukas Wenig in Kalkar. Jelle Klaasen - a two-time Premier League participant - will be another big name in First Stage action, as the Dutchman looks to secure a PDC Tour Card for the first time since 2021. The Final Stage entrants at European Q School will include former Lakeside Champion Christian Kist and World Cup of Darts quarter-finalist Thibault Tricole, who became the first French player to compete at the World Darts Championship last month. Radek Szaganski - a winner of a Players Championship event in October - will also be eyeing an immediate return to the ProTour, alongside American star Jules van Dongen and former Alexandra Palace quarter-finalist Darius Labanauskas. Matches in the First Stage will be played over the best of nine legs, while the Final Stage encounters will be contested over the best of 11 legs. 2024 PDC Qualifying Schools First Stage UK Qualifying School Entries Adam Atkinson Adam Bowman Adam Gawthrop Adam Hunt Adam Jenkinson Adam Lipscombe Adam Mark Griffiths Adam Mould Adam Paxton Adam Serpell Aden Kirk Adrian Gray Alan Norris Alan Tabern Alec Small Alex Spellman Alexander Elia Alfie Smith Andre Luke McGill Andrew Hoare Andrew Hyland Andrew Whellans Andy Hamilton Anthony Hitchmough Ash Khayat Ashley Coleman Ashley Ford Ashley McKeever Ashley Weaver Barrie Bates Ben Adams Ben Davies Ben Phillips Ben Quenby Benjamin Johnson Bhav Patel Brandon Jones Brandon Western Brett Claydon Callum Francis Callum Loose Carl Beattie Carl Sneyd Carl Wilson Carwyn Reed Cavan Phillips Charlie Large Charlie Martin Charlie Symons Charlie Wiles Chas Barstow Chris Hartrey Chris Hogg Chris Hurds Chris Quantock Christopher Harvey Christopher Sheldon Christopher Wickenden Ciaran Teehan Coby Jones-Swanson Cody Abel Colin Osborne Colin Tyrer Coni Singh Nagi Connor Hopkins Conor Heneghan Cory Evans Craig Watkins Curtis Thornton Dale Gadsby Dale Howard Damien O'Driscoll Dan Galloway Dan Read Dan Thompson Daniel Astbury Daniel Ayres Danny Lauby Dariusz Imbs Darnell McCrory Darren Armstrong Darren Barton Darren Beveridge Darren Brown Darren O'Neill Darren Webster (Heanor) David Davies David Evans David Saint David Wawrzewski Dean Croshaw Dean Forde Derek Barry Derek Maclean Duncan Parker Dylan Dowling Eddie Lovely Edward Price Fallon Sherrock Gareth Hannan Gareth Partridge Gary Blades Gary Brown Gary Butcher Gary Clark Gary Jackson Geoffrey Cope Geoffrey Heath George Connolly Gethyn Bennett Girish Sreedharan Graham Borland Graham Rackstraw Grant Brown Greg Ritchie Harry Gregory Harry Lane Henry Coates Ian Jones Ian Lever Jack Boardman Jack Mayoh Jack Vincent Jacob Gwynne Jaikob Selby-Rivas Jake Carter Jake Neale James Beeton James Green James Howard Hughes James Huthwaite James Parkin James Richardson James Thompson James Welding James Woodhouse Jamie Atkins Jamie Dunsdon Jamie Foster Jamie Tilley Jason Chisnall Jason Davies Jenson Walker Jim McEwan Jim Moston Jim Walker Jimmy McKirdy Joe Croft Joel Salerno John Bowles John Cook John Court John Part Jonathan Kavanagh Jonathan Wynn Jordan Brooks Jordan Taylor Joseph Bridle Joseph Heywood Josh Newton Josh Phillips Joshua Howarth Joshua Morris Joshua Richardson Joshua Wise Justin Giles Justin Hood Justin Smith Kai Fan Leung Kamil Janowicz Keelan Kay Keith Rooney Kevin Bambrick Kevin Garcia Kevin Lane Kevin Leadenham Kevin Lowe Kevin McDine Kevin Mills Kevin Painter Kevin Thomas Kieran Harris Kieron Bridgwater Kristian Barker Lee Andrews Lee Barrow Lee Budgen Lee Cocks Lee Grace Lee Howard Dutton Lee Williams Leighton Bennett Lewis Coyne Lewis Dare Lewis Gurney Lewis Pride Liam Goyne Liam Parish Liam Saxon Llew Bevan Lloyd Walker Lukasz Sawicki Luke Constable Luke Smith Mark Craddock Mark Dudbridge Mark McGeeney Martin Grearson Martin Thomas Martyn Moore Mat Caste Mathew Wood Matt Good Matthew Dennant Matthew Gallivan-Piles Max Baulcomb Michael Baker Michael Barnard Michael Flynn Mike Warburton Nathan Care Nathan Girvan Nathan Money Nathan Potter Neil Parry Neilie Brouder Niall Culleton Nicholas Ellis Nicky Denoon Oliver Madge Owen Maiden Owen Sherriff Ozzy Cook Pat Scurfield Patrick Lynskey Patrick Quinn Patrik Williams Paul Anderson Paul Barham Paul Lewis Paul Mitchell Paul Redfern Paul Rowley Pearce Todd Peter Burgoyne Peter Gallacher Peter Hudson Peter Jacques Peter Mitchell Petros Christodoulou Phil Coward Phil Milburn PJ Woods Rab Sutherland Rachel Brooks Raymond Mulvey Reece Colley Reece Robinson Rex Cole Rhys Griffin Richard Hill Richard North Ricky Caves Robbie Martin Robert Adnams Robert Barrett-Gore Robert Ellis-Brown Robert Heard Robert Nelson Robert Thornton Rohit Rabadia Ronnie Rickner Ryan Furness Ryan Harrington Ryan Hogarth Ryan Murray Ryan Newton Ryan O'Connor Sam Cankett Sam Cromwell Sam Spivey Samuel Palmer Scott Campbell Scott Hunt Scott Taylor Scott Walters Scott Winder Sean Fisher Sean Ryan Shane Hayward Shane McGuirk Shaun Alcock Simon Perkins Simon Stothart Stephen Fanning Stephen Jones Stephen Wells Steve Haggerty Steve Hine Steve Price Steve Woodburn Steven Harbert Steven Inkpen Steven Moss Stu Wilson Stuart Barrowcliffe Stuart Owens Stuart Wares Tavis Dudeney Thomas Banks Thomas Cromwell Thomas Lovely Tom Lonsdale Tom Martin Tom Riding Tom Sykes Tommy Morris Tony Clark Tony Newell Tony Norris Tony Procter Tony Selby Trevor Burkhill Tyler Mantle Ultan McDyer Wayne Jones Wayne Morgan Wayne Willis William Borland Zac Griffiths

It's probably a difficult task trying to balance it all out, couldn't really go without littler, he's single handily put darts on front and back pages of papers! Agree about Noppert though

Bunting has been in great form the last few weeks culminating in tonight’s win - his first PDC trophy. He’s an emotional guy and only just kept himself together during his interview. The camera panned over to his young lad who’s the image of his dad and was bouncing with pride and joy! A word for MVG - he was magnanimous in defeat and that’s always good to see.
