Popular Post JBFC II
He's come under some stick in recent weeks, but that's the best performance I've seen from us since the Lee Johnson days. Brilliant from Manning and co. Played a game plan to perfection, kept our shape and discipline brilliantly, counter attacked with pace and took our chances superbly. Southampton hadn't lost since September and we took them apart, what a performance. Superb from all involved. 51 3 2
MC RISK77
The main man- getting this group ticking now, just hope it’s not a case of after the Lloyd mayors show on Saturday.
DaveInSA
He’s been lulling everyone into a false sense of security with the slow passing posession based bollox. Now for a play off push. Playing the way we know best. 1

formerly known as ivan
That’s the sort of football I can get behind! I will repeat what I’ve always said… we all want this club to succeed. It’s been hard to watch recently but hopefully that’s a sign of things to come.
RedRoss
Massive credit to the players to stick to the game plan and carry it out. Manning set out that plan and it beat a team that hasn't lost since September. A huge amount of credit should be going his way for this result. 3

hantsred
what's really impressive is our energy and desire across the pitch to a man. We seem keener and leaner and yet a team that has predominantly been built by others and that has had to develop and learn . If Manning and the rest of the coaching staff has got this out of the existing group it bodes well when you recruit in specific players to play this system.

Struggling to remember being this happy after a performance at home, it may well be as far back as the Man United game Edited February 13 by JBFC II

gibbo7
Fantastic tonight!! Every single player, coach and Sam Bell to a man. properly enjoyed that performance. we are so much better when teams try to beat us. We struggle against the low block!! Mr Popodopolous
Credit where it is due. Team, management ie Manning and his staff, fans outstanding. Shape, work out of possession, ditto when we had it we used it very well. Very pleased for Cornick too, he gets some flak, unfair flak IMO. The subscriptions worked, the team, the set up. Felt like it could be a positive night with the fast breaks early on.

Singled out Sam Bell as I’ve given him a lot of stick recently, but the last 3 games I can’t fault the shift he’s putting in. Well done Sam!!

petehinton
You could see how much it meant to him at FT too. Couldn’t stop grinning as he walked around clapping the stands.
Gazred
Set the players up perfectly tonight and they executed it superbly. That's a few good runs we've ended now.
Middsie
That was great! Couldn't go tonight so watched on TV - Sky complimentary tbf. Think that's been coming when you look at the recent performances. Must consolidate on Saturday now. This is becoming very enjoyable to watch. Tim Monaghan
I think it’s been clear to see for a while that performances have vastly increased (bar Leeds). We’ve been unlucky in a lot of games. With Sykes and Twine also on the verge of a return, this really is exciting times ahead.
kiwicolin
I think we have a very good manager here.
Fordy62
Worth mentioning that when we win, things are all excellent and we’re on a playoff push. When we don’t win, we’re stagnating mid table and the season’s over. The truth is probably somewhere in between. But no one wants sensible. We’re ******* going up! 7 5
robin_unreliant
Let's hope Liam can also work out how to beat teams that sit back and let us have the ball. If he can then that would be a clear improvement on what NP left him.
