RoystonFoote'snephew
Another frustrating defeat but it was an improvement on recent performances. We were comfortable for long periods of the game but it turned after Nahki Wells miss and Ipswich made their substitutions, with Burns the difference. . 3 Quote Link to comment
Bedred31
Not a great squad but good enough to be doing better. No confidence in Manning’s ability to get the best out of them and now visibly dragging us down. He’s got to go. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Pick the bones out of that one. Going ahead on 77 min we really should be getting something. Scored two crackers, soft in defence. In fairness, much better effort and match than the last few, but it’s another loss. Really need a positive result against Swansea now. Enjoyed the match, at least a lot to get excited about, and bloody frustrated too. 4 Quote Link to comment
ollywhyte
Demoralising, would go as far as saying we’ve got to beat Swansea on Sunday… Consideing the couple fixtures to come after that, could quickly become 7 without a win Quote Link to comment

Northern Red
We did a lot right tonight but then undid it with some schoolboy defending. 5 Quote Link to comment
kit
Positives and negatives from that. At no point having g9ne in front were we at any point in control, couldn't create even half a sniff ince behind. Nothing has changed from that perspective. We were good value to go 2.1 up though. Still Manning out. Pring had gone at the end, roberts should have come on. I think manning had the tools to win it or at least draw from where we were but we really did crumble at the end. 3 Quote Link to comment
Numero Uno
Unfortunately playing “well” and losing isn’t cutting it in our position. We literally FOUND a way to lose that game. 9 points in TWELVE games now, it’s a terrible run over a quarter of a season. Sunday is must win for me. No excuses. Win or sling your hook. 6 Quote Link to comment

bcfcredandwhite
Disappointed of course. For most of the game we held our own - like a lower league side in a cup game. We gave them a fright on a few occasions. At the end of the day we were undone by a coupe of stupid individual errors and a lack of fitness. At the end we looked spent. That final throw-in the lads looked devoid of any ideas or energy. 2 Quote Link to comment

22A
OK, City lost again, but an improved team performance away to a team who are unbeaten at home this season. Tommy's goal; so reminiscent of Highbury in 76. Tom Richie chased a seemingly lost ball, but got it though and put it across for Cheesley to score. Tonight Mark Sykes chased a seemingly lost ball, but got it though and put it across for Tommy Conway to score. 2 Quote Link to comment
Red Exile
Horrible echoes of the LJ years - poor in-game management, weak, losing mentality setting in. Never been there or done it manager learning on the job. Which was precisely what it appeared we had left behind us. Grim. 5 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Fordy62
There’s alway one team who makes a late charge for it. I mean, ordinarily it’s the playoffs. But we like to do it differently here. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

Jacki
For the first 65 minutes or so that was a really decent display. But the last half hour was desperate stuff. They wanted it more and just absolutely ripped us to shreds at will. We can now add Wes Burns to the long list of players who’ve left us who are better than what we have left. Utterly depressing. 2 Quote Link to comment

One Team
I am as critical of Manning as anyone but that was an improvement on Saturday against clearly a better team and manager. Second half we played reasonably well at times, but defensively clearly was woeful. For all that though 4 losses on the bounce is dreadful. Lose Sunday and the Ashton Gate crowd will make the decision for Lansdown! 2 Quote Link to comment

Ipswich all over us and miss a penalty won down our left, no changes. Ipswich score to go 3-2 and still no changes, no change of shape even with no subs, nothing at all. Manning is as much if not more responsible for the loss than the players. What changes would you have made? 2 Quote Link to comment

ExiledAjax
A result and performance made worse by those that came before it. Lose 3-2 with a saved penalty and a performance that had it's moments (good and bad) off the back of a win or two and it's fine. But three poor losses bring the worst of it to the surface.
