Major Isewater
Celtic claimed that they should n't have to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League. Esmond Million's Bung
Celtic claimed that they should n't have to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League. Now it looks like they won't have to compete in the Champion's League at all . That's what happens when you win what used to be a 2 horse race, that has now become a one horse race, they have no point of reference for their statement. samo II
I read their opponents missed two penalties too? Not good reading for Scottish football, despite how accurate a barometer it might be about the state of the SPL.
PHILINFRANCE
I read their opponents missed two penalties too? Not good reading for Scottish football, despite how accurate a barometer it might be about the state of the SPL. Correct. But, Celtic held on for 2-1 with 10 men until the last two minutes. Dynamite Red
Do you reckon Celtic would get out the Championship with their current squad. I'm not sure they would.
BCFC Jordan
Do you reckon Celtic would get out the Championship with their current squad. I'm not sure they would. No. They only just scraped past Shaktyer Karagandy to get in the Champions League last season. With the absence of Rangers, Celtic are slowly (or more like quickly) being dragged down to the level of the rest of the SPL (L1/L2 standard). CotswoldRed
I'll never understand any fan that wants to display a foreign flag ahead of their own national one (by that I mean Scottish flag, no the Union one, and I don't need a history lesson, I know all about it). SimonR
Who cares, crappy scottish clubs can rot north of the Border, and the idea that they should be moved into the premier league is laughable.
Aizoon
But... surely the game is as long as the game is; you haven't 'held on' if you buckle in the last minutes. BRISTOL86
The Celtic Superstore would become the Glasgow Sport superstore... Only if Celtic Rugby, as part of the same group of companies, also operated from their business premises. The Bristol Sport bashing is getting really boring. As soon as someone else comes along to pump millions and millions into the club and pay for a new stadium, new pitch, good players, facilities etc....I'd suggest we get used to the idea. dezgimed
Oh and Legia only managed a 1-1 draw at home to St Pats last time out, with a 91st minute equaliser and they were battered that game. Shows how poor Celtic are.
