Phileas Fogg
Depends on context.. if it's 'backing Lee Johnson to get a surprise result against Newcastle" (in keeping with those Monday registration rumours) it's not as concerning as "backing Lee Johnson unconditionally until the end of the season". Might actually tune in to see..
Monkeh
VOTE OF CONFIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! How many times do you see a chairman come out and back his manager just before he is sacked?, the last one happened yesterday if you want a clue

Ska Junkie
We are sooo going down. Lansdown, you're a fool! Very rich but still a fool. 'I won't let them go down' and then signs our death warrant. Johnson MUST have something on Lansdown, he must have!
Septic Peg
He's hardly gonna come out and say he's getting the boot at 9am on Monday can he? Still think there is more to this than meets the eye.

BRISTOL86
I haven't seen the video yet but to be honest he's hardly going to say 'we're just waiting to tap up his replacement before we can sack him' is he? I think they don't want anyone in caretaker charge so it'll be a dismissal and appointment almost simultaneously. Of course if you combine dismissal and appointment you just get disappointment so I'm bracing myself.!
pongo88
I like SL, but after listening to that extract from the interview I think it proves the old adage "a fool and his money are soon parted". He seems content to keep putting money into the club regardless of results and what is before his eyes
Northern Cider Ed
I honestly think he will be gone the minute we are in the relegation zone for contractual reasons. Look at moyes at man utd, wasn't sacked until the day they couldn't mathematically qualify for the champions league.

LJ also got one a couple of months ago and nothing changed, so dont hold your breath. Fair play to Lansdown though, quite an achivement relegating your rugby and football clubs in the same season. His brand new shiny fantastic stadium may aswell just be named "Disappointment Gate"

milo1111
This is just quite comical now. It really is. How bad does it have to get and what is SL expecting to change within the next two games. He surely will be gone before the next home games.
