  1. Jeez..... their spelling is awful! Tickets are now off-sale for a week while seats are reallocated. That's not how you spell "relocated"! I presume they're maybe taking the roof off one of the stands to pop it in the washing machine and they just don't want the seats getting wet.....
  2. I would be happy with b). Even a 3 point deduction would be enough to send them down.
  3. I certainly hope that it isn't their argument! You can't win a legal battle with an outright falsehood...well...ok, you probably could, but not in this case. If the EFL apply the points deduction they'll either end up relegated and start the season in league one, or they'll apply it to next season and Derby will start with negative points in the Championship. But to say that Derby are in league 1 now is simply not true!
  4. Whilst it's right to recognise the achievements of Harry and Alan, what Coops did went far, far, far beyond any success the club may have achieved. He literally dragged this club up from the gutter in it's darkest days and gave the club back its heart and soul. No other manager in my lifetime (43 yrs) has come close to the monumental achievement that Terry Cooper fought for in my opinion. Football isn't all about winning matches.
  5. Whilst you're right of course about not missing that particular "landmark", it does actually raise nostalgia in the write up. Floodlight pylons for my years growing up and going away with the City served as excellent landmarks to spot whilst driving around the country. "Look over there - that's Walsall's ground" - "Over there, Brentford's floodlights" etc etc. The country's skyline will never feel as exciting again.
  6. The article was wrong...they were destroyed in a small chip pan fire a few weeks before.
  7. Missing: Last seen in Portsmouth, but resides in the Whorefield area of Bristol. If spotted, please contact Wally Al Qaida.
  8. Bleeding hell that hurts the eyes! Who was making that and thought that would be a good colour contrast?!?!?
  9. In fairness to Wally, he too is pumping in 10s of pounds! They're coming for us, don't you know?!?
  10. They do put the Tit in Titanic..... I have to admit I don't find these funny in the slightest. To be honest I find them disrespectful and in very poor taste indeed. Don't get me wrong, Hitler was an evil son of a bitch, but even he doesn't deserve to be labelled a Gashead!!!!
  11. Anyone else hoping they win their next 2 games 2-0 and everyone above them loses....and then they win their final match with Wigan behind in the 93rd minute before an inexplicable Swindon own goal rescues a point for the Latics and sends the six fingered cousin lovers down? They say it's the hope that kills ya. They'd be celebrating and celebrating only to come crashing down to earth!
  12. I'm not sure it will. GD is very much of a muchness. Wigan 1 goal better off and 3 points. A 1-0 win for the slags and a 1-0 defeat for Wigan and it's reversed. It's so close. I think it'll come down to points....though I would laugh my arse off if they went down on goals scored!
  13. On a serious note though, why on earth weren't they fined and moved on? Saturday we were still on the stay at home order, and even today that's only changed to stay local. Unless those caravans really are theirs they haven't done either! To see plod there and doing nothing is quite extraordinary.
  14. Come on lads....they've got a very intense atmosphere at the Mem. Sorry....I misheard. A very in tents atmosphere. As you were.
  15. Should we be surprised that one of them thinks Tommy Robinson is a stand up, salt of the earth good guy.....? I guess I'm more surprised that he was criticised by other Sags on there for the opinion....
  16. Well there's an amusement park in Dublin called Funderland.......
  17. Kids I get, but what makes you say a pensioner is any less likely to have photo id than someone in their 40's?
  18. South Glos as well? I didn't hear that...Not wholly unexpected though, sadly.
  19. Some bloke who once said "Unlucky da shit", perhaps.....?
  20. Not a chance...according to a Huddersfield fan I work with the guy is a legend in his own lunchbox. He believes that he is far better than the likes of them...and realistically he is.
  21. How? Hughton wanted to join us! He might bring in Darren Barnard (castle) as a coach....
  22. That's less than a 2.5% post to like ratio.... I wouldn't start creaming yourself just yet! ?? Anyway...speaking of irrelevance....back to talking about the Sags
  23. "As part of the partnership, Cadbury will be supporting some initiatives at Bristol Rovers, including the creation of a new Sensory Room at the Mem. This will help create a safe space for everyone to enjoy match day and encourage a welcoming and inclusive community environment for all football fans." I'm sure a sensory depravation room would probably help them more on a match day......
