  1. But got more points than any other team in the bottom 15. So swings and roundabouts eh?
  2. Russell Osman presided over an away win against Liverpool - should we reappoint him....? As much as I liked LJ (but agreed it was past time for him to go), one swallow does not make a summer.
  3. Losing Sir Bob cost us that title. True, we scored 7 times in the first two games after that injury, but draws against Orient and Huddersfield, and a 1-0 defeat to Bolton put the slags back into contention.
  4. I'd say that's more purple and kiwi..... ?
  5. Depends on your definition of lime....Forests kit was more of a darkish sea blue/green!
  6. I have to be honest I'm slightly confused by his account. He seems to be slating the regime for ripping the heart and soul (such as it is!) out of the club, but praising Wally at the same time saying about how much he loves the club. Is essentially his point that Wally Al-Qaeda is well intentioned but incompetent? I'm really not sure! I think his openness is to be applauded though. He's clearly hurting at the way the club has been run and how decent people have been thrown under a bus having done nothing wrong. He's trying to make clear that the clubs scapegoats are not the villains of the piece.
  7. A criticism aimed at him during his latter days at Brighton as well. Admittedly that was when trying to survive in a Premier League relegation scrap.
  8. You're quite right. So long as people know who you're on about it doesn't matter how you spell someone's name. It's like when people mistakingly spell Robbored with a silent "that bloke who ran scared of GJ" or the other common misspelling of "Rovers minibus driver". So long as people know who you mean, what does it matter?
  9. It's not as simple as I don't like it. It's just pure and utter bobbins!
  10. Do you genuinely have so little idea as to how football finances work to believe that 90% of our income comes from less than 10k pay on the day supporters? And then call it "facts". I'll tell you what is a fact. Something doesn't become a fact simply because you state it to be. You are correct in that it's a fans forum....but you don't ever seem to be supportive of anything, so are you even a fan? Like others have said you'd probably feel more at home on the City Till I Die Facebook page. Equally as awful both in content and grammar on that page. You'd fit in well. For me, I've enjoyed watching us at the Gate. We have to sort out our ability to see games out, but the difference between the football now and the football even 6 months ago is massive and if you cannot see that then you really are a lost cause. And then you call for Lampard to take over! Utterly clueless.
  11. They can count the people on it on the fingers of one hand. There are 6 people.......
  12. Not sold on him.....seems like a bit of a pjanic buy to me....
  13. On the same soundtrack they also had an homage for Jailbird Joey....
  14. Quite apt....most of their signings seem to be holding the scarf up but quietly singing I Want To Break Free to themselves!
  15. Control room....Agent Pitman has landed. Mission: Sabotage attempts to finish in the top 7. Supplementary mission: Fire them back into the Conference.
  16. That's kinda my point. Let's say 10 people test positive just before a match. 3 of them might be the screw you variety. But if the other 7 decide to do the right thing to protect others then that's 7 mitigated opportunities that the virus could have spread in. As for the tickets, that's why I suggested that the league need to take the initiative on this and remove their restriction to stream in the UK on a Saturday so that those who have a ticket and do test positive but may be sitting on the fence of what to do then they may be incentivised to stay away by not missing the match itself.
  17. Not totally pointless. Only pointless for those that don't want to do the right thing. I would like to think that most people who test positive would do the right thing and stay away, so there is a point to them. It would need the EFL to make a change, but an incentive for honesty would possibly be that if you test positive and have a ticket for a match then you're offered a streaming pass for it. Possibly would reduce the temptation to report a positive result as negative.
  18. They have a reputation to damage.....?!?
  19. Nah, not just yet....these things take time........ and he has a lovely watch on which to monitor that time.... but yes, these things take time.
  20. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating and all that....He's gone on record now. If Jailbird is found guilty on either charge, and remains with the club then this will come back and bite him. I would say that he's more likely to be found guilty on the Stendel case because of this now. It's only human nature that people on the jury will have this incident in the back of their minds when deciding guilt in that one, even though they shouldn't allow it to influence their decision. *Edit* What I would say though is that the words are rather hollow given that Jailbird's got a well documented history of proven violence and Wally still offered him a job.
  21. Hopefully just the one and not a certain 6.....
  22. A point made quite vociferously on AssChat when he was arrested for the Stendel incident. All changed for many of them when appointed. They saw him as some sort of Messiah. But as we all know, he's not the Messiah.....I'll let you lot fill in the rest! It'd have to be quackers to want that job!
  23. It wuz those gurt tedz wurkin for da press dat leeked it.
  24. I don't....you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.... They knew exactly the sort of person they were appointing and most of the fan base celebrated it. They get everything they deserve. I couldn't resist....I'm just surprised that they aren't more comments!
