  1. My thinking exactly...though me getting a ticket and my own 8 year old not getting one would also be a very hazardous situation! (for my wife, anyway! ?) I still think I'd want to see how the first few go before taking him down there though in all honesty...
  2. The (virus) issue is with droplets, so unless the inside of the masks are waterproof and any droplets shoot out of your nose/mouth, hit the mask, travel up and out of the top and then change direction horizontally, I'd suggest they're working enough...
  3. Masks are an issue for me due to asthma - but I'll still wear them until I'm finding my breathing becomes laboured and then I remove it briefly. The issue I would have with masks at the football is that I simply wouldn't be able to see anything because of glasses, which would make attendance pointless! I muddle by in shops without my glasses, but I couldn't do that at a game or at the cinema where the point of being there is to see what's going on. (Masks would've been welcome over the last couple of years at the Gate, mind!)
  4. The use of the word "intellectual" when referring to them is kind of ironic.....and not of the Alanis Morissette variety either! I believe they're also suing all the Governments of the world who instigated a lockdown during this Pandemic as the word is far too close to their protected word of lockout....
  5. It's not what we can do....it's what we're allowed to do. 30% maximum. Some as low as 17%, concourse availability will determine how much, so we should see 30%. I presume no away fans at grounds, which would remove segregation and presumably the 30% will then be based on the 27,000 capacity, so just over 8000. I'm minded to wait for the first game or two to apply for a ticket (my son and I have season tickets), just to see how it's organised and how safe it is before I put him in that position. We're desperate to get down there, but safety comes first.
  6. What about the top tier....? Never mind...
  7. I'll be amazed if pubs will be allowed to show matches unless it's on a big screen outside.
  8. Yeah, heard the plan around Spain and Italy, but not sure about any leagues with fans currently in attendance.
  9. Which leagues are letting in fans? I'd wager it's probably countries which haven't been so tight with their restrictions, or have large crowds to deal with, perhaps. Even Belarus stopped crowds in the end, I believe.
  10. I've walked my dogs down there for years...whilst on my way for picnics and everything. It's definitely a village green....
  11. I love this comment....I'm not sure if he's taking the piss or just drinking the cool-aid. choose files... Click to choose files
  12. Yeah, the club did....but even their "loyal and true" didn't though!
  13. They really are a breed apart, aren't they?!? Where do they come up with this shit?!?
  14. In their defence (that feels dirty and wrong). The "non-professional" reference appears to be in relation to the removal of a clause that has a non-professional restriction on it, meaning that it can then be used by a professional football club (in name, if not in spirit).
  15. Which would fit in nicely with the number of "Loyal and true" Season Ticket Holders!
  16. You can buy them in the shop and pop them in the fridge if you're that desperate..... Here to help....!
  17. Their bar is on the ground and yet still those chucklefucks grab shovels to dig it lower.
  18. Nah....his sister-wife helped him through it. ?
  19. The comments are hilarious!!! I wonder what 28 year old James North would think if he re-read this doozie?!? james north i think this is a great idea because brisol is now the 4th biggest city in england! it will be great because the new staduim will attract tourist. we need this staduim for cup games extra rugby aswell bristol rugby tem are amense! boo bristol city im only 13 but hey i like leaving comments
  20. "speak up in proper ####ing English" - said following and preceding (and during) nothing of the sort!!!
  21. Seemingly so would he. It's like a revolving door there at the moment. Hamer going dealt a blow to any semblance of credibility they were clinging onto. He at least had experience within professional football. Any reputation he may have had will be tarnished by his association with them.
  22. I'm calling you out as a liar. I almost believed you were at the Mem until this last photo, which is clearly of horseshit.....and we all know that no horses dare tread those parts anymore!
  23. It's what every bastard calls us anyway!
