  1. Count yourself lucky you don't want it delivered to your holiday location! With the international postage charges, it might cost you a 'Taylor'.
  2. I've got a Bristol City gnome somewhere. Purchased from the City shop.
  3. If they don't resign him, you can bet the blue few will set their sights on the following; Cureton Hayles Ellington They do like to speculate about former players who were unable to have their expectations met at Rovers coming back.
  4. So they are now looking to add clean sheets to their clean carpets and clean curtains.
  5. We aren't plastic, we are franchise... apparently. Don't you remember all those years we played in Bath because no one wanted us in Bristol? Or the fact we want a new stadium outside of Bristol? Hang on. That isn't us is it?
  6. Top 6 budget means they can be outbid by at least 5 other clubs and if they do lose a player to one of the less financed clubs they can claim that the other club are making that player the only monied player they were in for. Smoke and mirrors.
  7. Didn't Rovers steal their anthem from Plymouth?
  8. Apparently planning expires in January, August is the date they expect to need to start that would mean they wouldn't need to reapply. That isn't to say they couldn't throw more resource at the project to bring it back in scope before January. Reality is, without someone to buy the Mem, they need to source funding. Could be the family are happy to invest, could be they have funding from elsewhere. Either way, it is a gap of plus ten million.
  9. Just to play devils advocate, worth noting that a large part of their squad were non league and have over delivered. Reckon the big challenge they face now is trying to get players in on proper money and have potential. Clubs in league 1 buy and sell, it isn't all free transfers.
  10. Misunderstood, I thought they were talking about buying away season tickets, not a priority scheme.
  11. Sales would also have to be capped at the smallest away capacity (which I guess would be Burton).
  12. Think they started theirs at two mile hill and ended up at Chasers.
  13. Has anyone been over to their forum yet to see if they are upset and bitter that Wally is yet to spend his billions on anyone, or do they still believe that evolution strategy is genuine and doesn't translate to 'I have no money'.
  14. So what we have learnt here, is that we could have instead bought almost 14 Andy Tillsons.
  15. We've just spent 'half a memorial stadium' on one player
  16. Wally also got a Chelsea air freshener as well. Don't forget that.
  17. Of course, we are over looking that Wally is a billionaire who bought HSBC, and it isn't the case they have a smallish share holding in a subsidiary that isn't performing very well.
  18. Someone should post the financial observations made by Bert on the Rovers forum. I'm sure they'll have a rational response to it....
  19. Basically, all signs are that Rovers are rubbish and they owners have spent 7 million on Hoover bags. Or something. The numbers might be slightly out, but the being rubbish thing is completely true.
  20. Good signing for them. I assume that this means Wally is going to give him some pocket money so that he can get a few players. Either that, or they fear he is about to get snapped up by someone else and they want to make sure they are well compensated.
  21. I wonder if the bloke who had the t-shirts printed has started a pre*-season sale? *similar to a mid-season sale, only more football related.
  22. Daz does a lot of fund raising work with his music. However, I had absolutely no idea he also brew wine on a commercial basis.
  23. http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/9980/revenue-streams Yeap. A five a side knock about in the car park. That'll give them the financial clout to compete.
