  1. They would probably become the Bay City Rovers and think the name was clever.
  2. Imagine the conversation... You know that stadium you had designed and the thousands upon thousands you burnt getting to the point where you realised you couldn't do It? Yeah.... Well, we want to buy them! Right, these plans are worth a minimum of 10 million. We are talking Taylor money here, you want them, you buy them. How does a 10th of a Tilson grab you? Final offer. DONE!
  3. Either he is on significantly more more money than the division pays, or both sides have photos.
  4. He probably thinks that being a young, progressive manager he was INVITED to a Conference.
  5. just had a quick gander at Gaschat. Would appear that as they are starting to understand they don't have a vessel to urinate in, the collective sense of humour has returned. Posts along the lines of 1800 sold, 5000 stuck outside.
  6. @reddoh it's no wonder we got more visits than most from the 'Colgate Woman' - reckon there was more to those disclosure tablets than plaque. Pretty sure it was a fast track to parliament.
  7. @reddoh the snake was the least of your worries. Apparently they can be sick as well.
  8. Worse than you imagine. I went to a Catholic school. I can't imagine eating a digestive biscuit without a salty (so I have been told) topping.
  9. You'll have to explain that to me. I went to a state school.
  10. Pretty sure during Pride, Ashton Gate displayed the rainbow colours. At the Mem they seem to be implying that homosexuals enjoy watersports. The only positive is that no horses appear to have been injured in the taking of this photo.
  11. Probably. He played when the world was black and white.
  12. I do believe that earlier in this thread we agreed that a 'Tilson' was a unit of measurement.
  13. I think Brighton Pirate does Clarke a bit of a disservice there. He forgets to say that it was Clarke who took them in to the conference in the first place.
  14. I'm guessing these red cards are all part of a master plan. I believe most players who get a red card get fined, with the red cards they are racking up they should be able to save enough cash to get that credit facility to stretch until the end of the season.
  15. @Bar BS3 Not quoting you for obvious reasons, but is that genuine?
  16. Sadly I can see us losing this one, but that might just be because I haven't had breakfast yet.
  17. No way is that sustainable, not without an injection of cash. If the assets are already being held as security, the ground unable to generate sufficient revenue to get them to a breakeven position and crippling interest being paid on loans then they either have to defer loan interest or hope Wally is able to open the piggy bank and find some new cash to invest.
  18. They want a black and blue horse, to represent their history.
  19. Any idea who is doing the film at the Mem this year for Comic Relief?
  20. But it's okay, they still reckon they have 300k 'snake money' and a similar figure from their away game with Chelsea... Far be it for anyone to point out that this money will just go towards reducing the annual losses and paying interest on loans to someone who hasn't put any real cash in.
  21. Seems questions are being asked not just about the lack of investment in the first team, but also the decisions being made by 'the greatest manager in the world.
