Bugger how many overs do they have?
209 in 20 I think
-
Hmmmm, 9 down then, potentially a chase of 207 from 22 overs if the last one fell this over. Think I'd feel happier if we can bat out another 3 or 4

Yep!
We didn’t even used to get commentary, radio Bristol would go to Phil Tottle about ten times over the whole 90 minutes, just for updates, or goal updates!.
Do you remember how exciting it was when we sometimes got second half commentary on some games?

To be fair to Lammonby he shouldn’t have been given out in the first innings and must have been chomping at the bit to get back out there.
It doesn’t do one’s confidence any good to be moved down the order when chasing 50
I had forgotten about his first innings dismissal. Either way you are absolutely right, would have been worse to drop him down. Thankfully he came out and did the job.

Is it just me that wouldn't send Lammonby out to open now? He is so out of form that the risk of him getting out early again wouldn't help.
Personally I'd send out Rew to see how he handles a new ball.

So what would be a good total to set?

Unfortunately, it would seem it was only applicable for that one match.
Any chance you might be able to oblige again?

Is Bashir going to get an over or two maybe?

Surrey two down now, including Roy, and their RRR has crept up to over 8.
As a certain goalkeeper might have said, 'Always Believe!'.
Does anybody have a stream?
How are you watching from France on a tablet, @ralphindevon?

nope. Nothing to see here.
I actually popped down to shops when 5 down so you can thank me..
I went to get my dinner at that point, safe in the knowledge that at least I was about to win £20 by Notts winning the match

Nah. Somerset’s batting is wicked. Our bowling less so.
I think we are overdue a top order failure. I can see Glos winning this one

Lets face it we lost it within the first 20 overs of our first innings. Can't dwell on it too much,
As you say the game was over ages ago. The second innings encouraged me a little though, wouldn't have been surprised at a total of around 100.

Certainly not what I expect to see happen in Bristol. I'd have been happy with 160ish at the start of the innings

Looking at the betting markets I'm not sure why Kent are clear favourites at the moment if we are ahead on DLS

Basically made the pay day loan people the preferred creditor.
Ah thank you, that makes sense. I did think it odd that the previous charge didn't specify that in some way as otherwise the older charge against the Mem, to Dwane Sports would take precedence, I think.

They have another new charge registered at companies house from Nationwide Finance, this time the charge against the whole club as far as I can see.

Interesting to see that they have mortgaged the mem with Nationwide Finance, wonder if that is to pay for the redevelopment?

I did note that one of their Directors, Karim somebody, has resigned recently.
Might this be connected?
Yes looks like it is pretty much some mundane changes like that. Old articles stated there must be at least 3 directors, now only one required.

Looks as if they have filed updated Articles of Association at Companies House - not a very common thing to do. New investors coming on board maybe?

Well the forecast is mixed, looks like it will be isolated showers.. in a way not sure we deserve to get out of it with a draw but I'll take it.
Nice of Glos to continue batting and take a few more overs out of the day, they do seem to want to help us get the draw.

I really don't get why Gloucestershire's score will get adjusted up AND Somerset get a shorter powerplay? I'd have thought adjust the score up and keep the powerplay the same as what Gloucestershire had or don't adjust the score and give Somerset a shorter power play...
To do with resources, had Glos been 3 or more down at the interruption then the target would've gone down.
-
Calculator I found suggests target will be 110, let's see...
-
I really dread to think what the target could end up at. What would we be chasing if Glos only go at 10 an over and get to 111?

So what is the Somerset plan from here? Maybe accelerate towards trying to declare at 500 mid afternoon, perhaps 10 overs bowling at them before tea?
Commentators on feed just said exactly that moments after I typed it.
