I love his dry sense of humour and the lads around him did too. He is a star and a grafter . A real man in today's game of cheats and pussies. He has left us with many memories and I wish him all the best at his new club . New heroes will rise to take his place but Flinty will never be forgotten at BCFC. Good luck big fella and thank you . Lest not forget at the end of his first season there isn't a City fan who wouldn't have offered him a free, one-way lift anywhere in the country. What he did subsequently is a huge credit to himself. We have benefitted from a solid, popular player and received much more than we paid for him. I reckon Pulis will get even more out of him and the rumoured fee might well be a bargain. For me, the fact he’s gone to another championship club is the worry. The Nest Egg Posted June 27, 2018 Report Share Posted June 27, 2018 Actually took a moment to reflect. A sad day, and probably set to get even worse. Will be odd seeing him play for somebody else, especially now he's been flogged to the same division. As City fans we will look on today as a significant turning point for the club, either for the better, or for the day it all went downhill. There really is no way to tell.
