He was a punt that didn't work out but it's not really a big deal.

He's become a "pathway blocker" which I thought we didn't want anymore.

Bring on one of our own wasn't it?

I think it's a big deal for Yeboah and possibly others from the academy.

What's that noise?..... oh it's one of the 5 pillars crashing to the ground....

Yes impressed with his passing out today and the throws rather than the kicks that sometimes can be a bit wayward.

Sorry, almost (actually should have), cost us the game today with the hospital pass out to Zak who was immediately tackled by 2 forwards.

Really bad and should have been punished.

Trouble with that is, as we saw with Fammy, it's too easy an out ball for the likes of Vyner who will end up just lumping it long to to the big man.

I totally agree but if the alternative is lumping it short to Dickie or lumping it back to Max...

im not saying it was anything to do with it,but could have been maybe?

    Almost certainly in my view.

First Alexander, need to remove Pearson supporter.

Followed closely by Pearson himself along with 2 experienced coaches and his medical team.

Then the appointment of Manning... requirement to remove players close to Pearson as and when possible. One out, probably 2 or more to follow.

By that time all the experience wether players or coaches will be gone. Brilliant strategy.... for relegation!!

His job title hasn't changed, Dave. But his role i.e. what he actually does and is responsible for has evidently changed since the departures of Gould/Alexander/Nige.

Because in at least two of those three, you are losing experienced men with gravitas that can speak on behalf of the club.

Now we have Tins and Jon! And Tins certainly can't be relied upon to perform a similar spokesperson role to that of a Gould or Nige.

Plus, the loss of those men means Jon is naturally expected to be more about the place to help fill the vacuum.

I think Richard Latham is right, Jon probably had one foot in Bermuda and now he's been called back by Steve to deal with a shitstorm.

    That's the point I'm making.

A shitstorm of his own making.

Some good points among some nonsense.

My thought for a while (and stated before) is JL has been handed the club as a hobby

Major decisions are ran by papa but, JL needs experience as one day he will be at the helm of dads empire. Just a fact!

What better way to get experience than to piss off thousands of people by making shit decisions on your learning curve.

The firing of The CEO, Pearson, his team and the promoting of BT to Technical Director are horror decisions. Yes probably ran by pop, but he’s on his own!

If you are SL, JL is a lot easier to take ******* up Bristol Sport and learning something, than slopping around on a yacht!

    Fixed that for you...

No it isn’t, I can’t move from the Lansdown to the South Stand…period.

Any STs not renewed in the SS will be sold as POTD, no opportunity for EXISTING ST holders to relocate their seats unless they already sit in the SS.

Its supposed to be the HOME end, instead it’s going to be the tourist end with quite possibly away fans buying tickets at the expense of home supporters, another crazy decision by the leadership, but hey ho just another example of the Lansdowns disconnect.

POTD? Bloody hell, there will be people lining Winterstoke Road to buy those with the wonderful front foot attacking football on show.....

Anyone willing/able to rearrange and share the lyrics of "Go Now !" by the Moody Blues, (which, incidentally, sounds like a good alternative name for the Blue Few).

A song to belt out at the Gate (against Leicester or thereafter) when it becomes even more blindingly obvious that Manning is a disaster.

More me, the writing is already on the wall and it's too late.

But for those  few kindly souls still willing to give him a chance to work a miracle and turn things round, all I can say is, that if Manning pulls off the impossible, I will personally fork out the 50p for Tinnion to enjoy a night of unbridled passion with the hag fair maiden, Irene.

    Poor effort but here goes...

    Go now, go now......ooo

I'd love to see you cry..

We've had just about enough of you now oooo

Oh you had better GO NOW....

You could rename the song from go now to **** off....

#With apologies to the moody blues

You of course can if you want to RS.

I however think it’s important to hold the Club and individuals to account for their words and actions. Many of us considered what they had to say as total nonsense, but nevertheless they said it and I for one ain’t about to ignore it.

Absolutely this, all day long, well said sir 👏

Fair comment, but Pearson's last 24 was with players he brought to the club (or made the decision to keep) and had built relationships with many over the a year to 18 months at least.  They been schooled in how he wanted to player for a long period.

Any comparisons need to be heavily accepted and aren't very enlightening really.

I don't really see the point of the thread. We can all see things aren't going well, and most of us realise the top 6 claims were nonsense so why keep banging on about it?  They just didn't want Pearson any longer.

Yep, can't disagree with any of that.

Yeh but I don't think that's the point, you are comparing apples and oranges really, it's different situations.  I agree LM has not kicked on and I don't rate him myself and wanted Nige to stay so no bias from me, but the statistics here are loaded to make the point that LM hasn't done any better than Nige, rather than trying to pick more like for like stats for a true comparison

What like points per game this season?

  15. 2 minutes ago, AshtonGreat said:

    What about Pearson's last 24?

Well certainly better than that of Manning because it looks like we are needing the points gained under Pearson to AVOID RELEGATION!

Also, you will not find many, if any, stating the way we are playing is boring.

Glad you are happy with the current shit show on offer, because I'm not!
