"As we embark on our journey towards the Premier League, VIA LEAGUE ONE the unwavering support of our fans is paramount. Renewing season tickets not only fuels our ambitions but unites us as a club, forging a collective spirit essential for success on and off the pitch." - Liam Manning, Bristol City Head Coach
Sorry, he forgot a bit....

Jan 2023. Used that January as a handover to PA. PA went in Sept, Nige Oct.
No doubt the first one went so the other could be sacked.
PA "The club is in good hands with Nige".
PA "Pearson is football royalty"

Well I took the plunge as a Bristol city supporter and I’m still proud to be a Bristol city supporter in a very competitive league , probably in the top 6 in Europe,This division is a hard one to compete in due to parachute payments of yo yo teams like Burnley’s and sheff Utds if you look at league table I’m not sure if any of the btm 11 teams are still in receipt of these payments so there’s an excuse for league positions but he ho what else does one do but become depressed with their team but we live in hope and don’t forget shopping with her in doors or leave home at 11 have a few beers and shout at the red shirts
Just one comment... why, just because you're not going to football do you HAVE to go shopping?
Do you go shopping when we are away? International break? All summer?

Shocking downhill slide since Pearson sacking.
If it was right to sack him, then it follows it MUST be right to sack Tinnion and Manning....sooner rather than later!

Good for you. I have a fairly simple view of life, I am not going to support people who lie to me. Why would I give money to those who deceive?
The board lied about the reasons for the changes they have made this year, I don’t trust them and refuse to give them money to reward their dishonesty.
Steve needs to get off his backside and do something, but at the moment I don’t think they appreciate how angry lots of people are. Hopefully good people making a stand will make that clear to them.Wow, sums up my feelings perfectly!
I said in another thread, I don't suffer fools gladly and I can't abide liars.
Both apply here so it's a definite NO from me...

I'm saying that in my 40 years of supporting City, we've achieved zip - apart from the occasional bit of success in league one. I'd love for the club to be successful, but maybe it's time to lower our expectations
I think most supporters expectations were about right, unfortunately the hierarchy thought differently.
This current shit show is on them...

Now 14 points off the playoffs.
I'm sure JL and BT will have a plan to get us "top end" before the season finishes.
Unless they are aiming for top end of the bottom half?

i don't think there can be too many fingers pointed at Manning today. WBA are and always have been a bigger club, and they have a better squad of players. We played OK
Always?
Oh except last season when we WON there 2 - 0...

Yeah, fair point, but when they were a porter 30 years ago they never missed a ward delivery. You haven’t taken that into account. Hospital Legend ain’t it?
Hospital legend it would be if you stabbed the head porter in the back
Just saying...

I believe these are already catered for aren't they?
No, when the equal rights bill became law, it gave companies the right to choose if they wanted to keep some sort of reduction for people with disabilities. Our club decided that equal rights should be upheld. I attended a supporter meeting with Ashton about this. We did manage to get the club to phase the extra increase over 3 years so no, no less for disabilities except those in the wheelchair section who do benefit from a free carers seat.
That is excellent but for the vast majority, no.

He’s going to continue giving pre and post match interviews as that’s his job. Not sure we need a new thread with the same people making the same jokes each time.
Depends if you think they're funny or not....

Haven’t watched & wont be. I’m not one for conspiracy theories at all , but I wouldn’t be surprised if Naismith has been too outspoken for some & wont play for us again
What in the same way Weimann was dispatched to WBA?

Tinnion has been praised a lot for his work in the youth set up. No one can deny that. You praise the good work when it’s done.
The trouble is there has been nothing to praise since his little “I’ve been here 30 years so deserve this” promotion.
Yes agreed, he deserves some credit but most credit should go to Gary Probert who was academy director until October 2021.

Sounded annoyed to me especially when Richard Hoskins suggested £2m for Rob Dickie when it was actually £600k, It must be annoying when you work your hardest for a club and just get criticised constantly by some fans ( I have no opinion on if tinnion is out of his depth or deserves the job ) But none of us (unless we have contacts ) have any idea of what is going behind the scenes its all just speculation.
It must be even more annoying when you work your hardest for a club and..... GET THE SACK!!!!

Oh yes, brilliant idea!
Pearsons first 24 the squad was shocking, full of players who didn't give a rats ass, most of which were overpaid and needed getting rid.
Mannings first 24 the squad was motivated, there was a real togetherness. They played for the shirt and us. He also had many injured players returning so no, that comparison just doesn't work!
