The permutations are a nightmare, but I'm saying a Bears win over Sarries next weekend, and Exeter do us a favour by beating Quins, and we're all but there?

We are mundane and beige, we are often regarded as one of England's most boring teams as we rarely get involved at either end of the table and we never play Rovers...

Half that description of us is about Rovers ffs. Hardly our fault they're absolute garbage, is it?
Ironically, you could say exactly the same about Stoke and Port Vale too.

No. Put down the graphs and spreadsheets and enjoy this lovely April evening.

Yes they have. Five successive home losses to what must be the most mundane, beige club in the entire division.
Nice to hear they hold us in such high regard

Went to Sonny Stores last night, was really looking forward to it but unfortunately it was a total disaster, took 20 minutes to take drink order so decided to order food at same time, had to chase the one starter and bread that we’d ordered, it finally turned up after we had been in there for 1 hour, by this time several tables had been vacated by disgruntled diners.
We felt very sorry for the wait staff as the problem seemed to be in the kitchen, we asked if the main courses were going to be the same sort of wait time and should we “cut our losses” and just leave, we were advised that it might be best to leave.
The place was packed and when we left there was a big queue of people waiting for tables that were not free because of the backlog.
Can only assume the increase in capacity was a bit much for them.
Is this the Quakers Friar venue?

Did Chris Hogg headbutt another member of staff?

In their play off game; after 30 mins Solihull are winning 2-0 at Barnet.
Sure this has been covered before but why is Luke Freeman playing non-league?

Is having beers with West Ham fans illegal?
Nope. You're the one who said you drove to London and were on the beers. How did you get back?

Why would another forum member accuse another forum member of commiting a criminal offence? How bizarre.
And we haven't even got onto your admission that you drove to West Ham and had beers after with West Ham fans.... how'd you get back?

It also looks likely that, currently 47 goals against, will be the least goals we've conceded since promotion season in 2014-15.
Next lowest was 53 GA in 2018-19.
So unless we concede 6 v Stoke...

Nice to finish a season ( i know we still have stoke) on a positive goal difference, sure one of the stats people can say how often we have done that over recent years and also the number of clean sheets must be up there as one of our best
It would be the first time we've had a positive goal difference since 2018-19 season, which was +6.

Last season we had a spell where we got 19 points from 10 games, Birmingham - Blackpool, W5, D4, L1.
Yes - I was specifically talking about the run-in though mate, as we perennially finish seasons poorly/average at this level.

Take it that it will be Cribbs v Manor Farm in play offs.
Bristol derby! I'd make BMF favourites for that

...for us. In terms of results. At this level, over the past few years.
Taking the last 10 games as a run-in of sorts, I make it our best set of results since 2016-17 season. Last 9 reads: won 5, drawn 3, lost 1.
We typically end seasons very poorly.
Guaranteed to finish in 12th at a minimum, our best league finish since 2019-20 season.
A bit of momentum going into next season?
Here's hoping.

Lush wraps aren’t they. Pack a bit of a punch too.
I've never got past the taster box!
Good value too, tenner and a drink included

The taster box from LJ Hugs in Broadmead. My god, unbelievable street food.
One in Bath too that's exactly the same.

In terms of going up I can't really warm to.any of them.
Leicester may have breached FFP and maybe set to breach again.
Ipswich well nuff said.
Southampton, Russell Martin.
Ironically Leeds don't fit any of those and certainly appear to be aligned to FFP e.g.
For any City fan, or indeed fan of english football, the preference has to be Ipswich.
Every time a parachute club goes straight back up, it's another kick in the teeth for the rest of us.
A non-parachute club going up gives us some hope, at least.

Cardiff, Coventry, PNE & Middlesbrough all lose tomorrow whilst City win would see City 8th with one game to go.
We can all dream can't we. After all, a unique and unlikely set of results can occur; just ask Rovers about the 2013-14 season.
Finishing ahead of Cardiff is all we have to play for

Dunno what you want from a home game if you think the atmosphere was poor v Blackburn?
By modern Ashton Gate standards, that's as good as it gets.
West Ham (h) was the best atmosphere I've experienced at AG since the Man U win in 2017.
Proper old skool up in Dolman, what was block B.

To be fair, I have had the same thoughts but what’s gone on at Brum probably supports that you do make the permanent change as opposed to wait it out. Venus was a horror show and although it’s not the sole reason they may go down, putting Rowett in charge earlier I’d wager they wouldn’t be in as much trouble as they are. Issue there is you do that and he does well, who do you want as manager long term.
Of course, had Nige taken a leave of absence wholly possible Euell and Phlegm could have done well but I do kind of get the logic of a clean break.
Agree with this. Bringing in "cover" makes the situation potentially very messy.
And if you already have a club owner that has very different ideas on how to run a club to the manager and "doesn't always see eye to eye" with the manager (Steve's exact words), and that manager is out of contract at the end of the season, then the reality is they are going to make a clean break.

Just think its very crass for anyone to support someone losing their job because of health issues.
No-one has done that though. You said some people were calling for Nige to be sacked because of health issues, which is not true.
For starters, at the time of his sacking hardly anyone (myself included) wanted him sacked. And secondly, the full extent of his health problems and the seriousness of them were not known.
There's enough criticism to be levelled at the club and their handling of the sacking without retrospectively making stuff up which didn't happen.

If we beat Sarries, and Quins lose at Exeter, then we should be good to finish above them.
