  1. That's fine. Claiming the vaccine had dead fetal cells in it, amongst other horseshit he shared, is not.
  2. I think we were just trying to defend a lead, which isn't exactly an unusual or controversial tactic. Especially for a squad that has played a lot of football, and is playing away from home at a decent team. To defend a lead you need either more defenders on the pitch, more players in defensive positions, or both. I assume that's what Manning had in mind, and ultimately it worked.
  3. Sorry Dave, but your post comes across as joyless. We've just won at a top 10 side away from home and one with a bigger budget than us. We could, probably should, have been 3 or 4 up at half time. We aren't in a place where we're capable of playing at an intensity like we did in the first half in the second as well, particularly given the amount of minutes in players legs. That's presumably part of the reason the change was made. I agree we ceded some control of the game, at the same time I thought we defended very well - and we have that in our locker. I don't recall many Boro clear-cut chances, they had their first goal correctly ruled out and then scored a fluke. If you're angry about that then you must've missed a lot of very bad City performances over the years. Either that, or experienced a lot of anger!
  4. Obviously enjoys playing against them as thought he was very good against Boro in the home game last season.
  5. I note the same people that were deriding Manning for not being tactically flexible enough are now criticising him for changing formation. You've gotta laugh.
  6. Distraction of the cup out the way, now time to win the league
  7. The bream was great, as was the green salsa it came with. You can see the scallops just above the oysters
  8. Finally got around to visiting Noah's last night and it was excellent. Fresh seafood served traditionally. Porthilly oysters and huge Isle of Islay scallops to start, then we shared a delicious grilled whole black bream from Cornwall and cod loin and chips. The latter was about as good as fish n chips gets. A chunky cod loin which fell apart beautifully in a light but crispy batter. Yeah, it's £19.50 but the quality makes it comfortably worth it. They also do a match day special before City and Bears games, and an early evening special, where it's £15 and comes with a drink - that's great value. Interesting drinks menu too. I had a Hungarian dessert wine called "fairytale" and a really nice amaretto made in Somerset. Already looking forward to going back.
  9. The dog that accosted me looked like he'd been getting high on his own supply tbh
  10. End of March is the same deadline for ground improvements set by the FA every year. Thornbury Town need to start work on a new 100 capacity stand by end of March too, or potentially face relegation.
  11. And also pointing out that Sam Bell: - Set up our goal - Set up the chance for Wells - Made a goal saving tackle in extra-time "Weak mentality" tho apparently...
  12. How do you know he's got a weak mentality? Cus he missed a pen in a cup replay at a Premier League club? Dumb ***.
  13. That Joe Williams pass to Bell is class. A thing of absolute beauty.
  14. Undefeated over 90 minutes in four games against two different Premier League teams.
  15. Can someone send a description of the goal in Morse code please?
  16. Think as my previous posts on Paco would suggest, I'm not surprised by that. Quite reassuring that they do go around checking them and not just let restaurants have "legacy" stars.
  17. Was superb. Hindsight a wonderful thing but seems we made the wrong call on Eze: Crystal Palace star Eze reveals he was scouted by Chelsea before deciding to join Arsenal | All Nigeria Soccer
