  1. It seems some of my mates have broken protocol as I've had some messages from half an hour ago...they have just got back to the hotel from the club's. ..
  2. Looks like Bath are going to be massively weakened on Sunday. Every little helps: http://m.bathchronicle.co.uk/bath-rugby-francois-louw-and-kahn-fotuali-i-banned-for-foul-play-and-will-miss-bristol-clash/story-30153406-detail/story.html
  3. Not sure who I feel more embarrassed for, Vale or the bin-dippers!
  4. Shocking really, before the season started I'd have said this was nailed on for a 25k crowd, but it won't be close to that. Bath have huge support and I'm amazed they're not bringing 10k on their own. Yes, the England game is on but it's only an easy home game v Italy... I wonder just how wrong they've got the pricing maybe, even South Stand for a non-member is £31. Bristol not being competitive obviously doesn't help. Suspect it'll be around 19k still?
  5. In a box mate, with the match sponsor...
  6. After pledging I wouldn't go again this season after last week I've bloody been offered hospitality for the Bath game. At least the free booze and food should soften the pain of the lack of entertainment...
  7. The rumours of expansion went away back in 2015. I thought the only slight chance of Bristol staying up no matter what was that none of the sides competing at the top end of the C'ship have good enough grounds to be promoted?
  8. A Pat Lam inspired Luatua should be more than good enough for the Championship.
  9. Yeah, think they've realised you need real momentum going into the Premiership and under Robinson we weren't really that great all season despite eventually going up. Losing at home to Doncaster in your final game at AG doesn't really give you momentum. We were conceding shedloads of points to crap opposition last season and that sloppy defence has just continued this season. Bristol need to smash the C'ship next season. At least they'll have a 'hands on' players coach and that should help massively. Garnering a proper team spirit with quality players = success.
  10. Never again will I complain about the entertainment value at football. That was abysmal and I shall not be going again this season.
  11. Yeah Bristol are even odds-on favourites to win this game! I'm in the pub already!
  12. Going down on Friday. A win would be massive. Got to try and keep the league momentum going.
  13. Sounds like you're desperate to get them off the wage bill. Sounds like cost cutting.
  14. When you boil it down it's the greatest boxer of a generation going in the ring with someone who's never fought in a professional boxing match in their life.
  15. Floyd will only come out of retirement if he earns more than he did for the Pacman fight so £300m +. McGregor will be looking at £100m + too once pay per view earnings are taken into consideration. I think it'll happen because it's the biggest payday for Floyd out there
  16. Apparently this Jeff Horn bloke Pacman is fighting is a schoolteacher! Wish Manny would hang his gloves up. Unstoppable for that 2-3 year period around the time he fought Hatton but way past his best now and giving pay days to bums/schoolteachers seems such a sad way to go out... I still seriously think Manny in his prime would've beaten Mayweather and I think Money May knew that hence he never took the fight at the time! Shame we'll never know for sure
