So, next April/May time we hit 6,000 days?!
-
That'll be useful to wash out the sand from the home supporters' collective minge.
-
He's also Jordan's FIFA delegate, so yes it could get even more dodgy!
-
I can't recall a better performance by a British/Irish boxer away from home. Really want to make sure I see him live at some point, hopefully a fight in Belfast November time.
-
Anyone know of a good stream for Frampton fight? Ringwalk 4am. Will listen on radio if not!
-
They referred to the 'famous blue and white quarters'. Where does this myth come from that they're in any way famous ffs
-
Frampton v Santa Cruz on box nation. Ffs
-
Froch said in an interview two weeks ago that he didn't think Eubank fancied it.
-
Jumping two weight divisions now is a bit daft. Plenty of other big fights at 147 surely. He'll get the same treatment Khan got from Alvarez I'd imagine.
-
Porter is a horrible fighter to watch. All head, shoulders and elbows. Hopefully Thurman dispatchs of him. I won't be watching.
-
One of those early leavers was Jack Leach's Dad who was sat by us! Thought he'd have known better after what happened last week...
-
Didn't realise Groves v Murray was on the Joshua undercard in a few weeks. Could be a good fight that, and a difficult one to call. Eubank Jnr back in action too.
-
Well, that was beautiful. What a win. Special mention to all the cocky Glos fans celebrating their 'win' from 35 overs onwards - what a bunch of ******* you looked at the end! All left very quietly... Up the 'Set.
-
Sweating my tits off here. Gotta chase down 260 surely
-
Hearn seems to have been over-protective of Kell since he won the world title. I know he had the stabbing incident but like you say those three fights have been uninspiring and he's won them all easily. Vargas seems like a logical step up in class though other than Bradley (who he lost to) hasn't been in with much quality himself. When he won the title it seemed there was a host of mega-fights out there for Kell but it hasn't materialised. Surely the Khan fight has to happen next year.
-
I shall be there. Up the 'Set.

About 10-12 years ago we were, from memory, selling about 8-10k season tickets in L1 so you're not all that far off that. But of course that was a while ago and our season ticket sales haven't dipped below 11k for many years - probably since 2006. 6k is very good when you consider your ground is a dump and prices are hardly cheap, then again it's 6k after back-to back-promotions and a new owner with promised riches so optimism can't have been higher amongst your fanbase in 15 years. You'll probably be in the top 6 average attendances in League One next season.
-
Doubt they'll be many higher at L1 level to be fair. Then again, it's not even close to 14k
-
How does it feel to wake up this morning and be the THIRD biggest sporting club in Bristol BY A MILE? 40,000 supporters will be heading through the AG turnstiles on some weekends next season - just think they all coulda been yours
-
Surely Clarke's ego will ensure he takes the Leeds job?
-
Anyone going to the first ever game under the lights at Glos tonight? Weather looking a bit sketchy, mind.
-
Cheeky bugger. I wouldn't say R*vers are almost without parallel in terms of local support...I would say they are without parallel in terms of local support. Sag season ticket sales: approx 4,000 City season ticket sales: approx 14,000 See. We're so far apart.
-
There is a trophy for the runners-up tho. Not sure about third place...
-
Are you going to be having an open top bus parade, for finishing third in League Two, ahead of Accrington Stanley on goal difference??
-
Crolla fast becoming the next Hatton. Both really nice guys, great boxers and have captured the Manchester and wider public's imagination. So much respect for Crolla, that bloke was a dangerous opponent - you could tell he could box and hit hard. Devastating ko for Khan but always a danger of it happening. Gotta wonder how much he's got left in the tank now. He simply has to take the Brook fight, which would be a sell-out at Wembley.
