Chisora v Pulev and Khan v Alvarez this weekend. Chisora up to his usual antics at the presser yesterday dragging Pulev's head down whilst in the stare out. He's got his work cut-out on the night and whilst capable of a surprise will probably lose. Alvarez heavy favourite to beat Khan. I like what I've been hearing from Khan though, accepting he doesn't have the power to trouble Alvarez and saying he'll use his speed and movement to win the fight. If he gets dragged into a fight with Alvarez; he's getting knocked out. If he boxes on the outside and retains his speed from being a light-welter then I believe he can win and will be having a little bet on him at 5/1 to win on points.

It means the sags will continue to be run on a shoestring budget.

They're not and Martin has to think about his health, family and career. Quite simply he found out he was out of his depth pretty quickly. He tasted the power and after that he didn't want to know, and who can blame him? He gets up the second time, he's only going straight down again - why risk potential permanent damage?

Yeah not quite sure what Joe Gallagher's game plan was, but whatever it was it failed miserably. I thought both fighters looked petrified when they touched gloves at the start of the fight and relieved when it was all over. One of those fights where the stakes were so high the pressure got to both of them. The first two rounds were terrible but after that I thought Frampton took control of the fight and he left no-one in doubt as to who the superior boxer was. Shocking yet again to see such a bizarre scorecard from a judge - Quigg by 2 rounds, really?? Frampton v Santa Cruz next assuming he defeats Martinez.
