One game doesn't paper over the shambolic running of this club.
Seems to with some.

Frustrating that we know they have it in them to beat these teams but the inconsistency is the issue
Playing well in one in 5 games isn’t good enough. LM now has to get these players to go and win the next 3-4 games and show that the plan & coaching is working and we can do something next season
At least we do to the best teams what the rest do to us.

Well done lads.
Anyone got a picture of Vardy's face?
(I bet that doesn't get asked often)

Like it or not, Manning has saved his job here.
He wasn't going anywhere.

The club are either not supporting/advising him for press conferences or he/they just don’t care about fan engagement
Both, I think you will find.

A significant amount of marketing and boardroom horsepower would have been required for this, which would have been better spent evaluating while we’re a complete cluster **** at the moment.
Well, the reason is the Lansdowns, and they can't exactly conclude that, can they?

Please tell us it was sarcasm.
I mean he articulated words and it was an interview but beyond that…? Nothing!
Don't feed it, Dr.

ST sales will be thousands down imo. and I don't think Manning leaving - as important a first step as that is - will on it's own be enough to salvage ST sales.
Fans will also need to see that his replacement is the right fit, which means the next manager has to be a leader with a positive personality, a record of providing an equally positive style of football, with the character to enthuse the fans.
Even then, such is the resentment and disconnect, many fans will not commit to backing the club financially again until they see evidence of far more exciting action on the pitch which gives them reason to think attending AG might actually be interesting and enjoyable again.
The board may not want another Cotts/Nige type but they have to accept that's the sort of appointment this club needs, it's the right fit for the club and it's the right fit for the fans.
Another in the mold of Manning will do nothing to re -engage a large number of very jaded supporters who'll continue to drift further away so let's hope those in charge have learnt their lesson.

Assumed it was aimed at the Lansdowns & the "s" is for sell.

Not a synonym that many on here recognised
Again. Apologies.
I just find that a lot of my posts require it at the end. And it's easier than typing it out and having to avoid the swear filter.

Sell Up And **** Off.
Apologies.
I have said it so much on here that I thought that the 'regulars' (sorry... I am in the pub trade) would know.

To be fair, technically (or Tecknikally) correct. When you wrote that it was the present but I read it in the future from when it was scribed. But now my reading it is also in the past so the phrase exists in all three elements of time.
Deep.
My head hurts. ,
If it was written in 2023, I would suggest that the future may have been a little brighter than the then 'now'.
If it was written now, I would suggest that the future may not bear thinking about.
What an unnecessary cluster****.

Well, presumably they do try to win every game, Dave.
Does Manning?
Apologies for quoting myself, but I do think Lauren Smith does generally give her players the freedom to 'have a go', perhaps when sometimes she shouldn't.
Maybe we need to swap the head coaches over.

Does anyone have the number for renewals so far ? I haven't renewed yet to be honest and if I do I will leave it very last minute I think this could get alot worst yet under Manning.
It likely will.
But the problem is not Manning.

That makes a big assumption the target was to win all 17 games and achieve 51 points. I don’t think that was the case was it?

how do you know that's a slogan at the HPC?
It's just a stupid phrase on a red screen, I can't imagine for one second that is used to try to motivate players! (because obviously it's nonsense), unless they were about to play a game of Family Fortunes and good old Les Dennis was waiting somewhere off of camera.
Does anyone think we're trying to find ludicrous reasons to bash the Lansdowns? Because I do!
It was clearly a slogan at the HPC. They showed it with one or two others. Granted, my picture might not make it look like that.
We don't need ludicrous reasons to 'bash the Lansdowns '. They give us enough ludicrous reasons as it is.
