  1. The Middlesbrough keeper frequently comes way out of his goal and several times as far as the centre circle. 1; Something for City to exploit and 2; I' would not be comfortable with our keeper doing that.
  2. One of several today. People will look at the scoreline and ignore Max's contribution.
  3. To quote Matt Nation in "My favourite year" A City away win was never complete unless it coincided with a Rovers home defeat. Meanwhile, Saints, City's next opponents, are losing 2-0 at home to Huddersfield.
  4. 1st half thoughts. Which formation today; it's looks so fluid. 3-3-1-3 then 3-3-1-3-1- then 4-3-3 and then 4-4-2. Whichever, it's working. Luke A appears to pose more threat than the rest of his team mates combined. Our midfield is aggressive in their play and when required, out muscle their oppos.
  5. Unlike Wednesday night; it's working with one min to KO.
  6. https://sports-10.com/middlesbrough-v-bristol-city/ are advertising as being broadcast
  7. Their thread regarding Satdee's game is already four pages long. https://www.oneboro.co.uk/forum/topic/13616-boro-v-bristol-city/ I'm hoping for a 2-1 to Boro score line but have absolutely no idea what the mentality will be like on the day so who knows. Bristol City have went to extra time tonight in the cup, and the team is apparently almost as strong as they can put out. Good news for us. All I know is that we have to get back to winning ways especially at home because being honest we have been pretty naff of late bordering on embarrasing at times. Potentially win or bust, I'd say. We're in such poor form that I just can't see us making the play-offs if we slip up in yet another home game. If we don't get three points on Saturday then that's the season over. Our home form is abysmal. City have just played a cup replay into extra time. They are a mid table side like us with some reasonable players. Massive error in not addressing the striker issue.

    SKY Live games

I thought Yorkshire with four Yorkshire venues in eight days.
  9. https://www.skysports.com/national-league-south-table Yeovil still top, 1o pts clear of 2nd placed Worthing. Bath down to 7th but 2 games in hand over the team above them and Torquay are now 9th. WsM are down at 16th, two places above Truro. Taunton are 20th, 5 pts clear of the relegation places.
  10. Then we could sell him to Bournemouth for a large fee.
  11. Nothing changes then. Notes I made in 1989; For the semi final, City were paired with Nottingham Forest and the first leg would be at Nottingham. As it would be such a one sided encounter, I.T.V. televised the other match live.
  12. Yes! August 1995 when the League Cup 1st round was two legged. We lost 2-1 at Colchester, but won the home leg 2-1. City won the deciding penalty shoot out.
  13. Anyone else thinking back to that 1989 game when Forest were Div 1 and City were Div 3? C'mon City you can do this!
  14. https://sports-10.com/nottingham-forest-v-bristol-city/ but no live action (yet).
  15. Not English non League, but nowhere else to put this. Following last night's defeat, Ross County's Manager has resigned. He's been their Manager three times. A bit like Harry Thicket at City. For those who don't know, Ross play at Dingwall, (North of Inverness) and the ground holds more than the town's entire population.
  16. https://sports-10.com/nottingham-forest-v-bristol-city/ and now the screen reads "Click to subscribe".
  17. 7.45pm and......."Please stand by. We are experiencing technical difficulties".
  18. Now you're showing your age. But with the tunes you won't be saying Dottingham.
  19. Only 12 points off the play offs and we're only in February.
  20. That's where the 70's chant of "You're going in the river" originated. Meanwhile Sports 10 is now showing tonight's game; https://sports-10.com/nottingham-forest-v-bristol-city/ As both teams can forget League success this season, I suggest this could well be the last meaningful game for the losers, so hopefully, we'll see two teams both going for it.
  21. Nor is it on https://sports-10.com/ who've shown the last two City games.
  22. And so there is! Please look forward two more months and tell us which horse will win the Grand National. Give NW his due though. He stated the transfer window is shut so he'll just have work with what he's got.
