Bristol City v Cardiff City at home match day thread

Their fans aren't discussing the game soo much as related topics. https://www.ccmb.co.uk/showthread.php?451738-Covid-stays-at-Bristol I read on the CCFC website that fans will need to show Covid status before admittance to the Bristol game. Is this a new thing? There was nothing like that at Birmingham recently. https://www.ccmb.co.uk/showthread.php?451739-Away-pub-for-tomorrow Morning All, news from Bristol: the Knights Templar is not opening tomorrow until 11.00hrs, and there is no designated pub for Cardiff fans as nobody wants to take them unfortunately. Beer will be available at the Stadium. The Commercial Rooms (wetherspoons) is around at 15 minute walk from Temple Meads, it opens at 8am. -

Various members of the forum posted that we played well in the cup defeat and we also played well yesterday. I suggest to Manager, coach and players they watch a replay of the two games to establish why the different results and move forward from that.

And pick up more pp for the season after that.

70 mins gone and they continue to attack Fulham.
-
Back in August I complained on hee that we don't appear to have a right back. Looking at the latest Fulham missed effort, 60th minute, we still don't.
-
That sixth goal was a quality strike.
-
Won't we all?
-
And so it came to pass. Any predictions for full time?
-
Now look what you've done!
-
On their forum they have posts reading "Typical Fulhamish day", Bristol again" and "Could see that happening"

https://www.friendsoffulham.com/forum/index.php?topic=84642.0 Most of their fans expect a home win, but one predicts 1-0 to City. Some others think City will park the bus and state "This is the sort of thing we have to overcome to win promotion".

Guinea-Bissau were short of players but then found Alloa had a player who matches nationalities, so have called him up. Fernandy Mendy (born 16 January 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish League One club Alloa Athletic. Born in Senegal, he represents Guinea-Bissau internationally. In his first game he is marking Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

Back in August I started a FA Cup thread to follow the progress of local teams through the rounds. We gradually lost the likes of Brislington and Keynsham, then Bath and Mangotsfield etc. Now after the third round Cheltenham, City, Rovers, Yeovil and Exeter all gone. The sole representatives of the South West now are Plymouth and Bournemouth. Extreme localish I know, but fingers crossed for their progress. ?

A few seasons ago we had Rovers 0 - P'boro' 3 then a few weeks later in the cup, Villa 1-P'boro' 3. Gash logic meant this shows Rovers are only one goal worse than Villa. A few weeks ago P'boro' scored twice v City and lost. Today P'boro' scored twice and beat Rovers. Will gas logic admit therefore City are better than Rovers?

Sammy S has opened the scoring for PUFC.

I heard on Thursday's news that Chester City are in trouble. They play in the English pyramid system and had fans watching their games over the Christmas / New Year period. The Welsh Assembly has now announced that the majority of the Diva Stadium is in Wales and under their rules spectators are not permitted.

https://www.friendsoffulham.com/forum/index.php?topic=84522.0 That is bad news always feel that bad weather is a great leveler and therefore will favour Bristol. -
Derek McInnes is the new Kilmarnock manager. McInnes knows his one and only goal will be restoring Killie’s Scottish Premiership status, and he obviously fancies himself to get it done as the Ayrshire side lie five behind Arbroath with a game in hand. Despite it being a while ago, he has previous of winning promotion to the Scottish top-flight. He guided St Johnstone to the First Division title back in 2009 – and he’s since managed Bristol City and the Dons. At Pittodrie he turned Aberdeen from a bottom-six side into a consistent top-six team, regularly competing in Europe and finishing in the top-four. So City is the only team he's not had success with.

I reckon City "owe" Blackpool big time. That stoppage time equaliser in August (IMO) psychologically affected the team and fans who thought they had a win to start the season. After that we went into games expecting to concede at the end.
