I'm told by older fans that City once lost 5-0 at Plymouth on Boxing Day and that goalie Tony Cook was drunk. The next day was the return fixture at AG. Bob Anderson replaced Tony C in goal and City won 6-0. Dunno about you, but I'd like to see a return to "local" derbies again at holiday times with the fixtures just 24 hours apart. On another forum the suggestion has been made that Leicester are deliberately now trying NOT to go up this season. If they did, the points deduction would send them straight back down. By staying in the Championship, they'd still have the points deduction, but would be strong enough to get promoted and have some parachute payment still.
