  1. He looks a bit of a beast. We need to up our game a bit second half. They are a bit bigger and stronger than us.
  2. You're right. Let's hope it's on tomorrow. I'd clearly forgotten we played Coventry City in the final at Ashton Gate as well, even though I was there.
  3. https://www.sufc.co.uk/matches/u21/ This is scheduled for tomorrow (Mon 15/5) at 12pm. I haven't seen whether Sheff Utd will be broadcasting the game. Not seen anything promoting this on the OS (did I just miss it?)
  4. Ah, the days of a 2 legged paly-off final with the replay venue decided on pens. Loved queuing half way down Duckmoor Road all day Sunday as well to get tickets for the following day (was it?). Big up to Mrs Fudge for organinsing all those coaches.
  5. But what a night to be a Sheff United fan.
  6. Is this a case of one team preparing for the play-offs, and the other deflated because they didn't gain an auto-spot? (As Clare-Harris misses a good chance for 4-0 ...)
  7. It was. Gotta love football.
  8. D'oh. Oh, yes! Guess I didn't think of that.
  9. Just in case we f-up, I'll pencil the last one in.
  10. "City Women General Manager Grace Williams is leaving the club to pursue other opportunities." Seems a bit strange that City didn't mention what she was off to do, unless she didn't tell them.
  11. We need to be uncatchable after 36 games, or I'm taking my ball and going home.
  12. I don't believe you really want to end up as dumb as a brick. I assume that's what Ketamine does to you, and vow that any 'Special K' I take in future will be served in a bowl with milk. But on the other hand, following the logic through, we should be able to pick up Bellingham for under £20m. Genius.
  13. We did this before - pre covid - I think the women played after Reading at home. Not sure how will it makes sense financially. Nobody is going to make me pay extra to attend a city game I've already paid for. Costs for the women's game would probably increase because all stands would need to be left open, rather than just (say) the lower lansdown. Maybe I'm missing something.
  14. 4k release of Wicker Man will be out soon. Pretty in Pink, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Gregory's Girl, Donnie Darko
  15. Apart from the odd blip, looking like a competitive football team at last. Exciting young players who are only getting better. Looking forward to some decent signings in the close season, and seeing how it goes next season. Hope Vyner (and Kalas on reasonable terms) signs a contract. Need to develop a killer instinct.
  16. God, do I feel sorry for Rob Atkinson having to put up with questions from everyone's fave 'anchor' in the pre match RobinsTV show.
  17. Sounds like babestation. Have you been frequenting their supporters bar?
  18. You gotta love it when the site admin works around his own swear filter.
  19. Jack Hunt and Ty Bakinson on for Wednesday. Posh 2-0 up at Oakwell ...
  20. It's either a pen and a red (because no genuine attempt was made to play the ball*) , or nothing. I'm with you --very weak, City certainly wouldn't have got awarded anything there. There goes my Peterborough/Derby double. (Edit: *based on what the Sky sports commentator said - I'm not sure I should be taking notice of them though)
  21. Ironic really, don't blame $ky for something that your club agreed to.
  22. Here we go, here we go, here we go. A record deal just means revenues need to increase. So higher prices for consumers. Could split EFL games from PL games, and have a 'Sky Sports Championship' channel etc. Then they can double dip on charges. Maybe streaming options become pay per game. Maybe games are broadcast at the same time rather than be spread across lots of day/time slots. Also in response to several posts, international streaming shouldn't be impacted "Domestic streaming audio services will remain alongside existing audio-visual arrangements for international audiences via iFollow and club streaming services. " Overall, the greed of football clubs has overridden any obligation or fudiciary responsibility they have for their supporters. It's all about the $$$. I'm not impressed.
