Not watching but notice they are a goal up at WBA- seem to have had more chances and possession too, think Lowe has them playing a more expansive brand but we'll see come Saturday.

Yep. I watched the last 15 minutes of the first half, and PNE are passing the ball well and look pretty comfortable against WBA's (awful) direct approach. WBA inevitably booed off at h/t.

  2. Have you noticed that he's now usually not leathering the ball as hard as he can. Maybe he was guilty of that with the one that went over the bar in the second half last night, but yeah in general he's taken it back from 11 to 10, and he's managed to do much better as a result. Well done Andi.

One thing I would disagree on Dave is whilst COD had a lot of the ball and done well defensively. His final ball/cross was really frustrating for me .

It's never going to be great as he usually has no idea where players are or what runs are being made. Can we put one of those dog collars on him to stop him looking down?

Last 3 games we’ve conceded 2 goals a game to desperately poor sides and 6 goals to an outstanding side. Terrifying stats. We need a new defensive strategy  pronto- at least one new face and, frankly, much better coaching and managerial organisation. ‘Too good to go down ‘ is a mantra of at least half the teams who go down. Yes, some excellent displays from some young prospects, but overall this is probably the softest City side I’ve seen in 50 years- and at a time when we have a hard man for a manager!

Maybe you were in a fugee state in the 1980's when we hit the bottom of the fourth division :)

Ward on Saturday (right at the bottom of my crap list until Davies replaced him) was ok.  I think Martin’s goal bailed him out of a big decision on Flint when he tripped Weimann through on goal.

I guess we'll never know, and at the game I thought he was playing an advantage. But on watching it back he does not indicate this is the case, so now I don't think we was ever going to bring play back.

  6. Nearly 8 years old, living a stone's throw (well, maybe a few) from Ashton Gate, and oblivious to all things Bristol City (not having football supporting parents). It was bliss. A year later and am badgering our mum to let me go down. Pity I didn't get to see the Cheese play.

Hopefully the quality will be slightly higher than the current YouTube version. I predict we'll sneak a win.

    No we won't.

I think the EFL and FA will take any crime involving the safety of players and the disruption of the game far more seriously than the vandalism of toilets.

Edit: And thinking about it, I'm don't think the toilets will be mentioned in the referee's report, although presumably City and Cardiff will be duty bound to report this to the football authorities.

  8. I wonder if we actually put the highlights together ourselves, or it's packaged by a third party on behalf of the efl? Saying this because the efl control the robinsTV livestream match pictures - that's why you sometimes get the 'director' showing a non controversal replay instead of ongoing live action.

Is it right that Cardiff lot were actually fighting amongst themselves in the Atyeo? I couldn't see anything.

Sorry if it's been mentioned already on here.

Yeah, two were. In a lower block near the dolman corner near the end of the game. They were being held back from eachother by stewards. Perhaps one of them was such a moron that the more sensible supporter just snapped (or just really needed a sh1t)?

The Away Days video has a bit of coverage on it.

  10. Was it Cardiff or Swansea back in the 80s I think where they were trying to tear down the gate/fences at the front of the away end to get to the Dolman, where the police commander came on the PA at the end of the game and said 'you are a disgrace to your city'.

Truly two-footed strikers are a rare breed (which should be reflected in the price for which he will eventually be sold). I still don’t know which is truly his dominant foot!

£10M for the left, £10M for the right. You can have both for £35M.

  12. Come on, he's under contract until 31/7/2022. He can't be released unless he's asked for a contract cancellation, which seems unlikely given that he only on trial at Derry. If Derry want him then the city contract might be cancelled early by mutual consent, or he might be loaned til the end of his city contract if his city wages are higher than the derry offer.

At least those highlights are out. The ones on City's YouTube don't go out until 1am...

We were the last Championship game featured on Quest and the just showed the goals. Pretty useless, but I did get confirmation that Max probably (maybe) should have done better for their second. Oh, and they appear to be almost exactly the same as the sky highlights.

  14. It's his website. You can see it's linked from his officical twitter account https://twitter.com/stockogk1313/

MDB13 Properties Ltd is genuine and he is the sole director and he also owns MDB13 HOLDINGS COMPANY LTD.

The pfa community champion award is genuine.

The website needs updating as Wycombe are not currently a championship side. May as well wait until the end of the season before updating this, just in case.

If you look at the team behind the website https://1440.co.uk/about you'll take about 10 seconds to realise this is their branding style and that David Stockdale is "A Serious Man".

Right, s'pose I'll get back to the Watford game ...

With rumours of other clubs interested (Blackpool, Hull), I would imagine any fee is a bit better than nominal, albeit not large either.  My guess fwiw is £350k (what we paid for him allegedly).  I hope he does ok at Ipswich because it makes him more attractive to bids in the summer.  Not too well though ???

Lazy phrasing on my part. I was thinking of up to 250K, which obviously isn't nominal. Roughly a year's salary (?), so not really much of a consideration if you can afford to offer a 3 or 3+1 deal. Plus he should have some resell value.

  16. I don't want anyone having a fit of he plays well for Ipswich and blaming NP for letting him go out on loan. Surely, having burnt his bridges here, it's a case of whatever it takes to get that move made permanent? I'm sure any fee would be pretty nominal, although knowing Ashton, he'll probably try to knock it up to a few million.
