It seems many are happy with a point, and will settle for it, i would like to point you to the amount of draws we have had this season, it is this that is taking us down, not the losses. Convert those draws to wins......
If you are happy with draws I am not entirely sure you can see the problems we have had this season. Draws are no good, they will take us down.
So every person saying I will take a point after every away game, think. taking a point from every away game is all well and good when you are bang on form at home. Just saying I'll take a point (because it is away from home) is absurd, and is showing ostrich like syndrome to the predicament we are in this season.

that donkey Flint!
Still a donkey, but nice to get the ball in the back of the net

Dont think its such an issue. JET hasnt been outstanding the last three games so Barnett deserves a chance, as does Burns..
He hasn't but where have most of our assists come from?
Now we someone else has to try and feed Baldock and Elliott, as no one else look slike scoring
-
Have we conceded yet?
yes

I don't think you get it. Only my opinion counts, that goes for everyone!Yeah I just read the match thread and I humbly apologise because it was clearly only me who thought the performance was awful. It's a forum and people post opinions. Get over it!

he did n't score though
Thank ****, or it would have been 2-2

I certainly hope so. I've always rated him despite some of the rowlocks posted here.
Me too, people tend to forget the injuries he has had, he only knows one way to play, so when not fully fit you notice it.
Plenty of better footballers out there, but not many that will try to dominate a midfield the way he does. You need players like that with ball players playing off of him. I do think Championship level is the highest he can get to due too too much missing from his game to make the top level, but for this level, I honestly believe there are not many better players of his type. Jut wish he could pass the bloody thing a bit better, when he really puts his mind to it his passing is okay.

I'd like to see that, but does he have the legs?
he is only 29, you would hope so, he should be in his prime!
-
If anyone looked here before they signed, in a few years we wouldn't have a team!Maybe he should have looked at OTIB?
-
Sounds like the wall did a cracking job. Moore must be wondering what the hell he has joined!

nice and sunny at the moIs it raining in Brizzle? Lovely sunshine up here in the Cotswolds.

Yes it does because that is where they areThe most frustrating part is, our position does not reflect the squad we have, so what is going on?
All of them too prone to individual errors making a team performance nigh on impossible
-
Just when we need a confidence boost going into 7 games in 21 days boom conceding for fun.
Wonder if the heads are dropping or not?

I read it. Do you think he has scored some one on ones? If he has missed 12 how many one on ones has he scored? I noticed these stats were left out for some reason. Likewise the easy chances missed. How many easy and not so easy chsnces has he finished out of the 14 scored. All good and well giving a one sided view. I'll take more interest when he catalogues the goals scored and goals setup to give a more balanced view, thank you very much noggersThanks KITR - some good reading for BRISTOL86, TRL and one or two others there.
So, 22 clear cut chances not taken. Not one on ones - 12 of them, not 22. ( Although Harry only seems to have counted one against MK.) This figure of 22 was seemingly an exaggeration used as an excuse by some determined to defend him because no one expect strikers to score every one on one. We expect them to score SOME of them though, even if they occasionally have to change their finishing tactics after being put through when their predictable finish has failed consistently.
Anyway let's say we accept he'll miss almost 70%, but can reasonably expect him to score a third - that's 4, plus the other 10 clear cut, gilt edged MUST score chances.
That's a further 14 in total, and explains very clearly why many of us truly believe he SHOULD have doubled his tally this season.

Can't have a welshman with that record... that is just wrongif bellamy scores for Cardiff this season that'll be 7
-
He did. Twice. Once when they were shite and then when they were alright. Good memory. I just found out he didn't score for Sunderland!Didn't Andy Cole go on loan to Fulham at some point and I think he scored for them???
-
You calling I oldAh fair enough, I'm not old enough to remember some of them in their prime
-
plenty have scored for 6. Barmby marcus bent les ferdinand to name a few. Have to find someone who has scored 7. Not sure there is one that scored 7 andy cole maybe? Newcastle, Man u, blackburn man city, portsmouth, birmingham, Sunderland. Dunno if he scored for brum thoughIf its scored then Anelka has to be up there surely?
Bolton, WBA, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City..... that's 6
Edit: Darren Bent also has played for 6 clubs and scored for them in the Prem....Ipswich, Spurs, Charlton, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Fulham.
Edit ignore this. Just checked, brum was in the championship.
-
Us and wolves innit? Not sure if this is correct but...
Who are the only team to the relegated from the top division to the bottom in consecutive seasons?
-
Ark at eeeNot the Hawthorns - WBA are in the Prem.
Oldham athletic boundary park
-
I reckon he has scored for 6 as well. Marcus Bent, les ferdinand and nick barmby?Misread the question - is it Darren Bent?
-
Surely not Shearer, he only played for 3 prem clubs. Andy Cole as far as I know scored for 6 prem clubs, maybe 7. I'm not sure that record goes to Cole, but certainly more than shearer.Dave Beasant?
Alan Shearer?

And so they should. Player after player leaving the tour. All this must have been known before they left England, yet players and selectors seem to have failed to talk to one another, or chose to ingnore the obvious problems within the team.Actually want the Aussies to win 5 -0 and 5 -0 now.
They deserve that
At the end of the day I think we have been playing too much cricket, too many ashes games close together. I think the whole squad needs a break away from one another. It won't happen of course. So I think the rebuild is going to be difficult.

We need wins where ever, if we don't go on a nice run of wins at home we are buggered. If we are relying on home form we are screwed, we have been shite at home for 2 or 3 years, the crowd often leave the players frozen at home, So I think getting those away wins is a must.
