  1. I agree with this. Just said similar on Huddersfield thread. I’d like to see us go back to playing two up front closer together v Blackpool. I think both Wells and Cornick would value the closer support. I think you can still do that playing 4 at the back, e.g. 4312 (or even even 4222 or 4132)
  2. Entirely agree. Quite how anyone can say that Cornick is an example of why our recruitment is poor is beyond me - he’s only been here 5 mins, plus he has played numerous games at this level including helping to get Luton to the play offs last season. However, I do think it would help him to play in a two up front. I think the same about Wells to be fair. I feel we need two strikers closer together.
  3. Take a point and move on. James and Pring (looked a natural at CB) excellent
  4. Would love to see Mehmeti running at them and causing panic
  5. Hopefully one of theirs. You could see a retaliation though
  6. Back to the future (he’s been great throughout when fully fit)
  7. Man down. Are Warnock’s Huddersfield wasting time already? ?
  8. Pearson just said same shape. So will be King in midfield.
  9. I like the suggestion above of putting Sykes in the 10 role (ie move him from the right to the centre). He’s looking really dangerous at the moment and can score goals so I think it would help our attacking threat. Weimann then comes in on the right - his runs/movement can be good there as we saw v Man City. Scott to play in midfield. I think it will have to be Pring at LCB. It does mean we lose his driving runs down the wing but he is the most solid option in my view - he is also a left footer which helps CB balance. Jay to come in at LB.
  10. I was surprised by the decision to take Tanner off and move Sykes back, especially as Sykes looked really threatening in the forward role. I guess Pearson felt that it worked v Man City. I had no issue with the decision to move Scott into Williams’ position though, with Weimann taking Scott’s position - both Weimann and Scott are comfortable in those positions.
  11. Yes it was odd - maybe he calls everyone who plays for Ireland O’Leary.
  12. Couldn’t have gone much worse today especially given the injuries to Williams and Kalas which may have caused longer term damage.
  13. Seemed to go over the back of the striker. Looked bad for a while but he’s back on now.
  14. Hope Kalas is ok or we’re in trouble given the lack of cover
  15. I got the red button on Sky main event channel (401) today rather than the usual Football channel (403)
