  1. I hope Naismith isn’t out for too long. We’d miss his passing through the rib-eye of a needle.
  2. Wilbs had so much nous. I used to love watching from the South Stand how he controlled the opponent he was up against, often when attacking or defending corners. Also very strong and clever with his body.
  3. Cotterill’s last match before he was sacked from memory. Cunningham won it for Preston with a late winner. We were in the bottom 3 at that point.
  4. Looking at that goal, I reckon some players might have fluffed that chance - he made it look easy but it can’t have been that easy judging that cross given it looks like the defender would have been blocking a clear view of the ball coming over and it was coming at pace.
  5. Price is OK. £38 for me. That is just over 10% of the season ticket price. Those in Lansdown centre need to count themselves lucky that they aren’t being charged 10% of their season ticket price as that would have been £65! So could have been worse!
  6. Being awarded with a penalty would be iconic!
  7. I didn’t think Pearson dodged the Q - more a question of him focusing on Gould’s time here (he loved working with him). Also not convinced Pearson could really say much about his new boss less than two days in!
  8. David Noble rates him too (have some mustard with your gravy!) https://twitter.com/david8noble/status/1619778387131916288?s=61&t=g1qB7yruBw-y-1IR3UcDJw
  9. I also think it will be Tues, with another reason being that our kick off time on the Saturday after is also early (12.30). In addition, assuming they want to spread out the big teams across the week, our game is more likely to be on Tues because Man Utd and Spurs are unlikely to be on that day - they both play on the Sunday before (Man U in the Carabao cup final).
  10. Massengoing (with apologies to @Agard Days Night)
  11. Hope we save our next penalty until this match - 90th minute winner would be nice. Or we win on pens. After all there must be a reason why we haven’t had one for so long! Great minds!
  12. That’s the date the EFL site gives for 5th round but I understand it could be across a few days that week
  13. At 3pm ? Likely to be Tues 28 7.45pm or 8pm I would think as we both play early the following Sat
  14. Never thought we stood a chance v Man City 5 years ago over two legs. In a one off tie though….. bring it on.
  15. That has always been my view as well. We lost 5 of our last 8 matches.
  16. Not a top draw plus the fact that it was the fourth home match in 21 days will have had a bearing I suspect - and two of those matches were not covered by season tickets.
  17. I went to uni in 1985 and lived with a big Spurs fan. We still find it incredible that despite knowing each other for nearly 40 years, we still haven’t played each other.
  18. Maybe we’re saving our next penalty for one of them!
  19. Thankfully we haven’t got a long journey before or after R5 so hopefully that helps our preparation (home the weekend before and then at Cardiff the weekend after).
  20. Spurs at home. Years since we played them (1980).
  21. Looked really good when he came on last Saturday as well. I particularly liked it when he came from nowhere at speed to win a tackle - he looked really sharp.
