  1. Look at his left one though - it’s massive
  2. Clean air zone may not be coming in for a while yet: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-61736408
  3. 1974-75 season for me, although, for obvious reasons, my most vivid memories are of 1975-76 and especially the promotion match v Portsmouth - I can still picture myself walking to the ground that evening.
  4. Apart from the yellow boots ?
  5. If this site is accurate, white sleeves were only used in the 50s promotion season. Bristol City - Historical Football Kits I like it though - nice to have a change rather than yet another all red shirt. Also nice to have the hooped socks again.
  6. Talking of data analysis, this article today telling the story one of the first football analysts is interesting: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61648608
  7. A lot happened in a year - especially for Ukraine.
  8. And against us! I wouldn’t fancy needing to get points v them in our final group game on 29 November!
  9. Going to be an interesting last 10!
  10. On our way down I guess so will have been 1980-81.

    RIP Tinners

So sorry for your loss Sean. A lovely message and tribute.
  12. Yes full price list from 1 June set out here now: ? Season Ticket price increases after June 1st | Bristol City
  13. As others have said, depends how you view it - I prefer to think of it as getting a cheaper price for parting with cash/signing up early. Like a lot of purchases, commit early and get the best deal. Encourages more to commit early which in turn gives the club earlier cash (or committed cash if the DD payment option).
  14. Not everyone is renewing though. Some are buying for the first time.

    RIP Tinners

Sorry to hear this. Didn’t know Tinners but from the picture - unless I’m very much mistaken - I recognise him from S21 and he was always very helpful in aiding my Dad (who has trouble walking) get down the aisle. I just showed this post to my Dad and he was quite shaken by the news as they had shared a chat. Thoughts with his family and friends.
  16. A nice comment underneath that article! “Also a disgrace was the pitch invasion at Bristol Rovers a few weeks ago. The pitch was invaded 5 minutes from the end when BR scored a seventh goal to lift them into an automatic promotion place. The game restarted 20 minutes later but I imagine the opposition were too scared to play anymore and just wanted to get off the pitch safely. If the opposition had pulled a goal back in those last 5 minutes BR would have had to settle for the playoffs, not to mention the riot that may have ensued.”
  17. This was what the EFL put out on Weds - as you say, capacity reductions etc. on the agenda EFL Statement: Crowd Behaviour - News - EFL Official Website
  18. Hope we don’t go back to fences, but because of the nutters/drunks, you have to move to no tolerance to anyone going on the pitch (bans, fines etc.) And I have some sympathy for Vieira tonight - why should he just take it from someone who should not be anywhere near him?
  19. Agree. One of the worst penalties I think I’ve seen - and then he laughed ?
  20. Samba got them through that match. Some good saves during the game and that’s got to be one of the best performances I’ve seen from a keeper in a penalty shoot out - he owned it.
  21. Love the play offs (unless we’re in them!)
  22. Everton now down to 10 men so not all over just yet.
