I agree about the positives. I’ve certainly seen some decent quick incisive passing moves already this season and I haven’t always been able to say that.

Agree - it’s the Q not the player. He explains that he selects the starting 11 and bench based on what he thinks is best for the team on the day. Pretty logical and straightforward. Doesn’t have to be a conspiracy theory every time someone doesn’t make the squad. Some of the Qs were even about not making the squad last season!

Yes there was a tribute for Stoney plus Tinners and another fan named Martin before the match including pictures on the big screen and words over the tannoy which was well done I thought (and in fact the tribute on 76 mins took me by surprise)

Brilliant. Germany have never lost in a final before and they were coming on strong in extra time. We’ve seen England’s men crumble in situations like this in the past so it was great to see the Lionesses stay resilient and come back to win. Outstanding achievement.

I was just thinking the same. Be surprised if Scott stays on for the full match given he missed the start of pre-season. Bring Wilson on at some point in the second half and move Sykes forward.

Agree - and they did line up like that recently.

I think Pearson feels that those 3 at the back work best together as a unit. They did play together a lot in pre-season of course. Need Kalas back fit of course.

Thanks. Only 1 red button match shown on that list and even then it is on Sky Sports Arena as well (WBA v Brum). Perhaps others will show up later though.

Doesn’t the fact that we have offered a contract - presumably on better terms - mean that we at least get some compensation as Massengo is under 24? If so but we then withdraw the offer, presumably we wouldn’t get that. Clearly not as much as a transfer fee but would be better than nothing.
