  1. 45 crosses? Add one more to that. The cross we have to bear as City fans, One day all these crosses will hopefully amount to something and we'll crucify the opposition.
  2. At the risk of others saying "Ono, not another new song", why not start a rendition of "All we are saying is give Pring a chance"
  3. I suspect you lasted longer than many others.
  4. As far as I'm concerned, if he didn't show him the yellow card it's not a booking. Having said that, you're right. The ref clearly did write something in his book. My guess is ... "I pity these Bristol City fans. They deserve better."
  5. From where I was sat in the Dolman tonight (E34), it did not cross the line and the ball was headed onto the bar by one of our defenders and then cleared. Pity it was a a bit of snorefest as we had two young first-timers join our group, I suspect they won't be pressing to come again any time soon. When Naismith was forced to leave, and people realised that King was going to play centre-back, there were some scathing comments from those around me. However, to be fair, he did okay. But this has to be a one-off. I can't see him being asked to contend with Deeney & Co on Saturday.
  6. But let's be honest, some of his designs are pretty sh*te !
  7. So let's also organise a protest about the traffic jams caused by protests. This could go on for ever.
  8. We should organise a protest against the protests.
  9. A rubbish club run by two numpties . . . . Wael al-Qadi and Joey El-Bow. and let's not forget Irene El Ofa Trollop.
  10. Mickey Mouse watch and a Mickey Mouse Club. As Donald Duck might say " "Short-of-a-few Quadi" must have been quackers to have bought that club. What a Wally !"
  11. Haaland is immense but ..... would he score against our brilliant defensive unit? Ponder that.
  12. I'm finding it hard to imagine Bailey dressed as a Casual.
  13. They've been lucky sofa. He's made a big contribution in helping them creep up the table.
  14. Smashing goal by Glass. No wonder Plymouth looked shattered.
  15. Maybe Matt posted this tweet after being put on the spot.
  16. Nice to see them sitting so low in the table. Surely this warrants them being renamed "Bristol Low-vers".
  17. Another emabrrassing defeat for the Fewers. They need to chill out and get used to it. As Oliver Hardy said .... "Do you think some Accy Baccy will help them to relax, Stanley ? "
  18. Instead of buying so many players one at a time, it would be more expedient for Forest to buy in bulk or, better still, simply take over a better but cheaper Premiership club, such as Brentford.
  19. The BBC's royal correspondent has gone on record to thank Bristol Rovers' supporters for going above and beyond. Their impressive 90 minutes silence during the game against Lincoln City last Saturday was considered heart-wrenching. He was nonplussed when a colleague explained this was the norm for every game at the Fewmorial.
  20. That Red Button coverage of the game at Norwich was pure comedy gold. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. The talented four year-old that filmed last night's game, fully deserves the Roger Malone & Phil Tottle Betamax Award that he will inevitably win hands down. Thankfully, I am on course to making a full recovery. The doctor assures me that my eyes will eventually uncross themselves and that my exploded brain can easily be put back together with gaffer tape. Can't wait for the next match on the red button.
  21. Well if nothing else, our games this year have certainly been entertaining, for both good and bad reasons. Much more interesting than the no-shots-on-target dross and negative tactics we had to endure in times gone by. Supporting City is definitely not for the faint-hearted or those of a nervous disposition. There's something potentially special about this group of players (and some of those waiting in the wings). Pearson has, without doubt, made a positive difference to the way the team plays and battles and has instilled a sense of belief and higher expectations amongst both players and fans. Fed up that we lost to an undeserving Norwich, and, more so, the silly mistakes that cost us so dearly, but pleased to see that we have a group of players that, on their day, can beat any team in the Championship.
  22. It's not nice to mock the afflicted. But with regards to Messrs Saggydumb and Saggydee we can make an exception.
  23. The Corgis have been succeeded by King Charles, who's incredibly cavalier, and some say has had a bit of a dog's life,
  24. I beleive he is 53,237,693 in the line of succession. So the media will consider that to be a particularly valid interview. Won't be long before they start interviewing the corgis.
