  1. Hand-me-downs amongst the less fortunate are understandable,, but it appears the impoversished Blue Few also do hand-me-ups. We should be grateful he didn't also inherit his little'un's shorts. That would have been a stomach-churning sight to behold.
  2. I suppose it's a case of "You're only as good as your last performance". When anyone plays crap they get called out. When they play well they get heaps of praise. Seems fair enough to me. Solution is to play well every game,
  3. The ugly, scruffy flag that is universally recognised as meaning "I am a Moron"
  4. Not a Martin fan, but credit where credit's due, He struck to two good goals and seemed sharper and more up-for-it than usual. Glad Weimann knows how to stick the ball in the net, as, knowing how we concede late goals, 2-1 was never going to be enough in the closing stages. Semenyo seems to have beefed up and is becoming more of a handful for defenders. He could morph into the bully-type forward with pace that we need. With a bit more composure he will score goals. Apart from giving the ball away for their first goal, Massengo played well and battled tirelessly. Worrying to have players going off so early in the game, but on the positive side, I was impressed with how the others battled on regardless. Glad no-one else had to go off with an injury. Cardiff looked a poor side. Still think we need to bring in a couple of decent (affordable) players before the window closes, ideally a striker and a defender. We need competition for places and cover for injuries/suspensions. Proud of them all. Good win and 3 more points,
  5. Would have expected this to be a Klose season signing.
  6. Get 'em while they're young. One for the future?
  7. Recent performances suggest COD has had his lot. When the chips are down, he's gone missing. Wouldn't be surprised to see him lose his plaice.
  8. 6-2. Game, set and match to Fulham. Some of our lot clearly at fault. The ball's in our court on Saturday. The players now need to rally together and serve up a good win against Cardiff. Time for Semenyo and Weimann to volley a few into their net.
  9. or better still, the ""Past sell by date" Stadium". Close to the smelly Feeder canal. Ideal food source for the Blue Few bottom feeders.
  10. How about The Out-of-Date Stadium? and change their nickname to "The Perishables"
  11. Slightly off topic,, but Diony's loan spell here was an absolute disaster. Dijon clearly knew he'd never cut the mustard. He still probably Angers the fans of certain clubs he has played for.
  12. Did British Red Cross or St John's Ambulance offer to become our shirt sponsors?
  13. "In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus" - Eins Zwei G'Suffa !
  14. Not surprised you didn't see many of them. 10,000 (as usual) were locked outside. They have to put that right someday. Cannot imagine how those 10,000 muppets put up with being unable to get inside the ground at every away game. But hey, they are the world's greatest and most loyal supporters
  15. The bond that Benik has with BCFC will never be broken. I wish him and his family all the very best.
  16. We ought to come up with a version of Dion's "Run Around Sue" for Andi.
  17. Nothing more than just a bit of handbags (handbaggies in West Brom's case) at ten paces ( or two metres apart because of Covid).
  18. We jabbed Millwall good and proper today. Once, twice . . . . . three times a Weimann. Reckon their fans are hurting bad.
  19. Winning ... and singing in the rain. And at the end, the sun finally broke through. Great fight back. Love that fighting spirit. Just like the Bristol City we once knew and loved. Keep it coming.
  20. Now we can call him Andreas Dreimann. If he gets four, it's Viermann.
  21. Maybe our players were given the Anti-Win jab to stop the Three-Point Variant.
  22. Thin as a rake, but that didn't stop Tom from being a really good player and goalscorer. Tom proved that if you have a big heart, a good attitude and strong self-belief, you can do anything. Thanks for the good memories.
