We're plenty safe. Should all be about keeping this momentum going into next season
-
Maybe we could hire this

Oh god, the cringey twitter account!

They are being shockingly run. If it was here some fans would be the same.

There are always going to be people who will moan after all this is a Bristol forum a City where the glass is always half empty rather than half full.
Nothing wrong with a good moan every now and then to pass the time.
I just find the whole waiting for the big fanfare frustrating.

Also need to think about the effect it would have on Harry & Meghan.
I really didn’t think about all of those things. I apologise

Nope, it really isn't. There's an optimum time to release things.
There's plenty of tangible benefits for the club (and every other club for that matter) doing things the way they do that far outrank the impatience of a bloke on a forum. Sorry to break it to you.
Well me and all the other impatient blokes and blokesses must take to the streets then.
”When do we want to know about our signings?”
”NOW!!”

It's a key element of the business model for most companies now. Engagement. It drives sales and interest. My wife runs her own little business and she spends more time on Instagram driving interest and engagement with her products than she does making them.
I get the frustration, but a football club has limited opportunities to boost its profile. Transfers are a key element. It's just the way it is. No more ceefax rumours page...
You can still do all that stuff. Just announce you’ve signed the player first. That’s engagement!

What bugs me is that if a deal is done just announce it. Don’t care for photo shoots or boring interviews holding up announcements.
If we were signing Lionel Messi I’d understand a bit of fanfare

You sure he’s not just reloading his saved games if he loses?

It’s the same with the BBC sport app. Had a link to highlights of goals from every game on the football page bar City. You had to go to the actual match report to see them

Darn it. I don’t do Twitter anymore

Don’t really want him scoring till February

Thing with Gordon as well is that he knows that financially Everton are in trouble and so can’t really turn down offers for him
-
Gordon is worth no where near £40 million. He seems to think he’s their best player and can demand to leave. He runs around a lot and puts the effort in but doesn’t actually create or score much.
Everton should be biting Newcastle’s hand off for £40 million and get someone like Ziyech from Chelsea for probably far less and he’s a better player.
As for Caicedo, I’m sure I thought I’d read somewhere just the other day that he didn’t want to leave and now completely reversed on that

Aden Flint surely gotta be up there. £300,000 or so, 15 goals from CB in a season! Kept us in the championship before contributing to that cup run. Will never forget that hattrick against Walsall, or even that goal line clearance against Man City, from the sterling header. Sold him for around 7m as well.
Flint was a strange one as when he first came in and the club were struggling he was a liability. He then got injured which actually helped the team out. The next season he was a lot better

Where did we get Ronnie Sinclair from. He was a quality goalie

Semenyo frustrates the hell out of me. Has the strength, pace and power to make himself a real handful but his composure and finishing is terrible.
Maybe the reason no prem team has taken the plunge in him yet

Even as an Everton fan I do like Klopp. He just comes across as the kind of manager who knows how to get the best out of his players and as I player you’d play your guts out for.
You get some managers that are quite dull or wingie and moany like Conte and Mourinho who you imagine can’t be much fun as players to work for.
i remember watching that series on Salford when they were first taken over by Neville and co and they appointed a pair of managers who basically just shouted at the players. For a good manager needs to inspire players. Not just bawl at them
Maybe I’m just a softie!
