  1. In every away game I've been to this season all the idiots I've seen have been the coked up youngsters causing the trouble and also shouting abuse at our own players and fans.
  2. The same younger generation chucking full cans of Thatchers at away players at AG? I'm far from middle aged by the way (in my 20s) but it's both from my own experience this season. Most of these embarassments remind me of bullies from School
  3. Hmmm I don't know. The away games I've been to this season it's been the Under 25's who are coked up being kicked out of neutral pubs and intimidating non football fans on the tube (QPR away). I haven't been away with City since Coventry, can't be bothered ever since as our fans are embarassing.
  4. Liam Fontaine from 2012 onwards was horrendous. Never seen a player drop off that badly so quickly and never to regain it. Didn't help we always put the useless Nyatanga, McManus or Bates next to him either.
  5. Good win. Also now officially safe from relegation

    West Ham

Europa League has been very entertaining this season. It's about time the English media stop sticking their nose up at it
  7. Nah celebrate and rub it in. Karma for Simeone
  8. Simeone losing the plot here
  9. What about Goalkeeper back ups we've had? Chris Weale, Mike Stowell, Stuart Naylor, Ronnie Sinclair, Luke Steele, Dean Gerken how would they rank as back ups? At least 2 or 3 of them had memorable moments in a City shirt
  10. Is it possible to dislike both Real Madrid and Chelsea at all? I have an irrational dislike of both Real Madrid and Barcelona. I am predicting a Man City vs Liverpool final
  11. Chelsea from 2004 - 2007 were one of the most boring sides you'd watch but they won 2 Premier Leagues, an FA Cup and 2 League cups. That's all people remember that era of Chelsea by, winning.
  12. The happy go lucky good lads, the losers basically
  13. He had him sussed didn't he, he was absolutely spot on about LJ.
  14. English football legend in my eyes. Any City fan who cannot see what he's done at numerous clubs is just bitter about the guy. I'd have loved him at this club. We're too nice

    Passive

The club is very corporate now and weak. I get the feeling that the higher ups within the club that they think of the club very highly (High Performance Centre for example). There is no hard working desire from within to improve and get better which is what I see from clubs like Luton, Brentford and Millwall. Cushty life really at Bristol City and it always has been (other than when Cotterill was here). This doesn't change until there is a change at the very top
  16. The majority of the fans don't but the club certainly do. Listening to Jon in January suggests within the club they rate the squad higher than their current position.
  17. Yep, the money had already been spent by previous (Mark Ashton and Lee Johnson). We sold and didn't replace at all well. Lee like his Dad left this club in a bad state when they left. Granted it's been a woeful season and I'm finding it hard to defend Pearson really, but he really has been given **** all. Ultimately I think Pearson will be sacked from City or will walk eventually and it will please a lot of fans, but lets be clear here this squad is pretty poor and it has been for a few years now, I think most Managers would struggle to get the most out of them. If Pearson leaves we have the same problem - No money and an overrated squad. The club needs new ownership to really progress.
  18. Still one of my favourite ever games beating Swindon 3-0 and to then watch them crash and burn in the play off final against Preston.
  19. They managed to get a draw with high flying Luton, proving that they are no mugs. They also beat QPR 3-1 at Loftus Road a few weeks back. Daft to think this is an easy 3 points considering how poor defensively we are.
  20. Liverpool > Man City for me in terms of entertainment. I don't think teams who park the bus vs Man City help matters though. Also prefer Klopp to Pep too
  21. Manchester United Liverpool Arsenal Chelsea Everton Tottenham Hotspur Manchester City Aston Villa Leeds United West Ham United Newcastle United Sunderland Southampton Nottingham Forest Sheffield United Sheffield Wednesday Blackburn Rovers Derby County Coventry City Leicester City
  22. Scott vs QPR at home. Infact that whole refereeing display that day was scandalous.
  23. I mean we couldn't have asked for a better draw really
  24. It's a really horrendous format like they are doing with the Champions League from 2024. The World Cup won't be the same in my opinion by adding these 16 extra teams. The qualification will near enough be a process of if you're at least remotely average in Africa or Asia, you'll qualify which will dilute the quality of the actual tournament. I know people go on about times change and we have to continuously evolve (Corporate speak) but this isn't the way. It's very much like rewarding every child a medal but in this rewarding every average side a place at the World Cup basically. I hope to see some more push back from UEFA and the major European nations, but it won't be to any avail because AFC, CAF and OFC will be the ones who will benefit (where all the tinpot football nations are from) and will be lining the pockets of the FIFA big wigs. The sooner England, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy say enough is enough and we're taking our ball and leaving FIFA the less likely silly plans like this will be in place, but they're too scared to because they'll also lose money. The loser at the end of this is football, less will be interested in the Sport because of the amount of pointless World Cup games there will be and the quality will go downhill. It's not supposed to be easy to just qualify for a World Cup
