  1. Where are we actually going as a club? Sadly I can only see us returning to League 1 in the next few years.
  2. Sadly it happened on 2 occasions. Both in 2019/20 and 2020/21 Woodrow hit in a 90+ minute equaliser
  3. Anyone who calls Lionel Messi a flat track bully is never worth listening to. How anyone can make a statement like that is absurd. I can see the similarities with Ian. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10610281/Ronaldo-proved-greatest-Messi-flat-track-bully-insists-Piers-Morgan.html
  4. Frank was a poor appointment by them. No experience of a relegation fight and doesn't have the managerial style to play battling football (like Burnley). I think Everton are in huge trouble.
  5. Burnley is my prediction.
  6. They're Man United or Liverpool fans when they aren't winning games.
  7. And a **** load of these have Swindon Town as their 2nd team, with a lot of Bath Rugby fans
  8. I absolutely love seeing Man Utd lose, every time especially to their rivals. Seeing their struggles post Ferguson has been a gift that keeps giving, it must really hurt them that the two best sides in the Country by a mile are now Man City and Liverpool.

Worth a watch, I think it explains what I've witnessed at City games home and away this season

Young lads chucking a near full can of Haze at an opposing player taking a corner, then they score from it - We got what we deserve there i'm afraid. They are an embarassing bunch of c**** who need straightening out a bit.
  11. I must admit I've been NP in for a long time, but the last month since Reading has really tested my stance to be honest, it's been extremely underwhelming. Sam Bell was bullied vs Coventry, was crazy to stick him out there again and Birmingham targeted this from the first minute. it then proceeded to be the worst half from us all season (in my opinion). We were actually on top in the Second half and then NP took off James for Wells, which we then totally lost a grip on winning the first and second ball in midfield, and then any kind of momentum we had. This against a team who were below us in the table and haven't won away since October. I'm more frustrated when seeing the likes of Luton, Millwall, Preston, Huddersfield, Blackpool all being far more competitive than we are this season and we're just content with staying where we are, utterly frustrating and infuriating. The last 3 seasons have been an utter waste of time.
  12. Still a bit concerned, not sure where our next win is going to come from atm
  13. Noble was a total baller who was as talented as any other Midfielder I have seen in City colours. A pity the Manager at the time didn't really like flair players and couldn't let his son down.
  14. The sad thing about the 2001/02 home top is when I was a kid it was massive on me. Now it's about 2 sizes too small ? Still have it, one of the best shirts we've had.
  15. When City announce a St George's Day tweet on April 23rd and the inevitable meltdown about it by some on twitter happen, I hope there is a similar energy by some on this thread.
  16. I agree. I have long thought that there needs total reform. All that would take is a few of the big Football Associations going there own way (England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy) and the rest will slowly follow as the competition becomes pointless. As for hosts of World Cup's - It should always be a Country who either has the stadiums ready, are not in breach of human rights and are a big footballing nation. Sadly, FIFA care more about lining their own pockets than having an interest in putting on a tournament that is good for the game. Their proposal of a World Cup every 2 years is also truly terrible.
  17. I think what impresses me the most about Alex Scott is the fact he has been put in various positions across the Midfield and at Wing back and he still looks good. He is 18 and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in England shirt in the next 5 years or so, genuinely.

    Timm Klose

It was clearly Plan B as Plan A to play through wasn't working for the last 20 minutes of the 1st half. Players were too static and Dasilva was hugging the touchline which didn't help. Pointless criticising a player who hasn't really put a foot wrong since coming to the club in Klose

    Timm Klose

A forward pass can only really be made if the players infront of the defence are making the space to enable him to do so. Coventry's midfield in the first half were not allowing our midfield much space so Kalas and Klose just ended up passing amongst them.
  20. To be fair, Saturday I didn't mind it so much - We'd won, the kids were about 4/5 years of age. Yesterday it was double that, pre teens just trying to be cute but it had the opposite effect, looked embarassing.
  21. Touchè. Imagine a self confessed communist having anything moral to say in an argument about basic human rights. Embarassing
  22. Played well tonight and unlucky. A point would have been fair, Coventry have a good side. Alex Scott was brilliant this evening and didn't deserve to be on the losing side. Not a fan of Cov's cocky fanbase though ?
  23. If you compare where we were this time last year to now, you have to say there has been improvement. As said previously, we could barely muster a shot on goal in some matches at this point last year. The best thing Pearson has done is he has improved valuable young assets (Scott, Massengo, Pring, Semenyo) and also got the best out of Weimann and Martin as well. The biggest issue is we haven't been consistent, but that happens with inexperienced young players, and a side who had relegation form between January and May 2021.
