Can we attract Graham Potter?
Think he will have his sights set higher than Bristol City

Honestly my perception is mostly influenced by each clubs performance through my childhood. It's a weird metric for sure.
It means sides like Crawley and Stevenage and Burton are absolute no marks in my head whereas the likes of Leeds and Villa and Norwich will always seem like relatively big clubs even when they've dropped down the divisions.
Still can't wrap my head around Bournemouth being in the top division.
Yep same here and honours- I even look at clubs like QPR who won a league cup when I first started getting into football as a relatively big club

Oh wow didn’t expect that given he completed the game on Tuesday… he is really looking like the real deal at their level over the last 14 months
swift recovery Zak

Lots of good performances last night but my big shout out was to Sam Bell- looked a constant threat last night and with each game is making more and more better decisions. Hopefully we have a real star in the making.

I still have the live HTV 90 minute live match back in 1993 against Grimsby when we won 1-0.
A game that Humberside/Yorkshire channels did not cover.
I went to that game it was a Sunday afternoon and was a truly dire affair. Nicky Morgan headed winner from memory

Cmon Philly... whilst you're correct people shouldn't judge others on what they wear, the context here is totally different.
The ' look' they've gone for, especially with faces covered so not to be recognised ( there's a reason for that, and it's not because they are covered in acne) is to associate themselves with a football culture that's related to enjoying a bit of a ruck.
It distinguishes them away from the ' normal ' fan and ' shirters'.
' Getting the badge in'...kid on right...it all points to a culture.
It's been the same as others have implied over the years. A culture that wore certain clothing at football matches to distinguish themselves.
And their were some proper clown looks during the 70s as has been mentioned.
Whilst this imo isn't about a fascist thing...it's definitely a look and trend being copied from the ' Ultras' abroad.
A bunch of kids following a football trend, that so many have done in the past, that will eventually grow up and see how silly it all is...' but was fun at the time'.
So many have been there before and voice experience.
Whilst I concur that nobody should be judged on how they dress, I agree with this post in that if you think those in the photo are not trying to represent a more dare say hooligan look then you are burying your heads in the sand.
Never been into it and I hold no interest in this part of British football culture (and that of many other countries), it is something that is part of the game that we all love.

He played very well at times today. Defenders are aware of his pace over thirty yards when he has the ball so doesn’t get behind as much, but his running off the ball is excellent and he deserved his tap in for getting himself there and in front of the cross.
Agree with all you say apart from a tap in… looked like he took the goal from a low cross on the half volley on an angle which takes a lot of control in respect to the finish.

Gibson has a good track record of giving his managers time from memory, but yes concerning slump from last year for them
-
Wonderful way to head into the international break after the disharmony and frustration of the last few days of the transfer window
well done all

Seems like some good Zac news incoming
-
Fair shout- good move on paper but can’t see him featuring too much other than cameo sub appearances or cup games this season.
However good coaching and a manager who believes in him may give him the oppprtunity to develop

Whilst I have been underwhelmed by Pearson performance and entertainment wise since his appointment, what is without doubt is his professionalism, he seems to be the face of Bristol City at the moment, appears to have minimal backing, and is fronting our club pretty much single handidly.
I remember the first few years of back in the championship and in particular the season we beat Man Utd, and Steve and Jon Lansdown made regular appearances on Sky sports and local news and seemed to enjoy the limelight they were getting.
They appear to have left Pearson to front it out on his own which is very poor form.

To be honest mate I also would like to know what is going on- haven’t got the time to trawl through multiple posts and certainly haven’t seen any conspiracy theories.
Whilst I am not the biggest doom merchant around Lee Johnson, considering him for a return to the club is absolutely bonkers, he has failed miserably at hibs and despite a promising start at Sunderland failed again.
Not getting a striker in even on loan also looks bizarre.
The thing I am getting very pissed off about is the seemingly radio silence from our owner, chairman and ceo.

Nige's reaction
Both teams had attacking intent may well be the case, applying it seems something we struggle with- one shot on target at home is dire.

There’s a lot to be said for forum outage.
Haha was thinking the same- so let me be the first to oblige.
Looks like we produced another thrilling attacking display in front of our own fans!!
