  1. Well he has scored 21 in 23 for Norway and they are not exactly top notch.
  2. Lovely piece on BBC News this morning about Bill, his love for Wycombe Wanderers and their fund raising for the Prostate cancer charity. Gareth Ainsworth came across very well.
  3. Apparently terrible recruitment in the summer is being blamed. Who would have thought only signing players that you are the agent for would be a bad plan?
  4. I know this thread is only for taking the piss, but that was a lovely move for their opening goal.
  5. Norwegians must wish they could put a team together around him at International level.
  6. Some of his movement seems out of place in that team though, there are times where he almost seems to be getting in the way.
  7. Shine on You Crazy Dismond - Pink Floyd
  8. I don't know if they always set up that way but Smart coaching from the QPR side. They have played 3 up front with 2 of them very wide ,and exploited the space we leave by playing our wing backs so high up. I would say it's the perfect way to play against us. It also shows that Sykes is not really a wing back, he was the wrong side of his man every time.
  9. I don't care what anyone else thinks, but some of our fans are a bunch of ***** the way they turn on the team.
  10. It's not exactly raised the profile of Caraboa either, still being sold in Home Bargains at £1 for 2 cans.
  11. 4 in the league one in the cup. A fresh Williams is a bonus.
  12. I meant Klopp, but fair enough.
  13. Is he a proper Manager? Where is the Championship promotion on his CV?
  14. I am not suggesting that there is anything untoward in Joey and his "friends" considering a purchase of the Gas, but have you ever watched Ozark and seen how a money laundering operation can be run behind a legitimate organisation?
  15. I had a similar thing in Bristol a couple of months ago. I used the car park by the Thekla when going to the Hole in the Wall for my wife's leaving work drinks. Anyway, paid on the app but ended up being there longer than intended. The app sent me an imminent expiry warning message, but somehow in going back in to pay, I managed to pay for the car park by the Portwall Tavern. I was fuming when I got back to my car and saw the ticket, but realised my error in the morning. I wrote to the council, using some screenshots from the app and said, if the wanted to fine me I understood, but I wanted the payment back for the car park I didn't use. They came back after a month or so and waived the fine, as they could see that I had tried to pay in good faith. I guess it's down to the individual council.
  16. Caught By The Fuzz - Supergrass
  17. But presumably they could afford to buy property down there? After all it was only 3 weeks ago that Joey was telling us that local property prices were what was stopping him sign top Premiership talent.
  18. Agreed. I don't wish to labour the point, but this paragraph alone illustrates the fact that he would have scored goals in any era. Whether he would have scored at quite this rate is unlikely, but he would still have been phenomenal. "In the 1960–61 season, Greaves scored hat-tricks against Wolves, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City; he scored four goals against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest; and hit five goals in a 7–1 win over West Bromwich Albion. His hat-trick against Manchester City on 19 November included his 100th league goal, making him the youngest player to pass the 100-goal mark, at the age of 20 years and 290 days." How bad Chelsea must have been defensively not to have walked the league with him in the side, makes our worries over Naismith seem minor.
  19. I posted on another thread Jimmy Greaves' record before he was even 20 years old, it completely blows every other player out of the water.
