  2. If anyone's watching I would be interested in what you think of Sarpong-Wiredu for ColU.
  3. Not in the squad? Illness or injury?
  4. And why not, people laughed when Johnson described him as someone who wanted to play football rather "be a footballer". From day one here he looked like someone who would play the same way if he was in the park across the road, any proper football fans will love that enthusiasm.
  5. Smoke 'em - Fun Lovin' Criminals
  6. They will probably produce seamers and spinners for the T20s
  7. It's about individual performances at that level, the coaches will tell you that they don't care about the overall result most of the time.
  8. John, we do all appreciate you and your efforts so please take this the way it's intended. You really shouldn't be sticking things like youe email and mobile number on a public forum, it's not only friendly City supporters that can read this stuff. It really would be better to ask people to Private message you. I am sure the mods can help edit the original post too.
  9. OK, even by NTTDS's standard this is an odd one. Title? Relevance to the actual post? No idea.....
  10. Lots of CCTV cameras but do they actually work? The ones at the Portway P&R were not when I had the Catalytic Converter cut from my car a couple of years ago. The investigating officer said they had the same problem in Brislington and at Bath as well, i.e. it's cheaper to put up dummy cameras than the real thing. I think they should be done for false advertising when they claim their sites are "safe and secure".
  11. What was he protesting against anyway?
  12. What a well researched video, where the hell did they find probably the only footage of him kicking a ball with his right foot, let alone scoring a goal with it!
  13. Is any of this not bollocks? No, I have read it 3 times and its definitely bollocks from word one to the last word in the post. He is developing these areas as well as what he is doing for the club through the devopment of the stadium, training facilities and the plans for the indoor arena, not instead of.
  14. Not at the moment he isn't, bastards.
  15. This could be mayhem with Stokes and Bairstow at the wicket.
  16. I don't think the whole of the ball crossed the line, no goal.
  17. One of the things that worries me is that I can't see a plan. I know there are many on here that moan(ed) about Lee Johnson's constant changes in personnel and/or style, but we rarely looked totally disorganised. Even if most of us couldn't work out the plan, the players usually looked like they had at least practiced that formation and tactics even if they turned out to be the wrong ones. In recent games, it has felt so disjointed that it almost feels like something was thought up on the morning of the game, I am concerned that any young players we bring in as the season ends could have their confidence knocked if they are left as exposed as Bell was against Birmingham for example.
  18. A stance to be admired no matter what side of Bristol you are from. I am sure even the most hardened of City fans will congratulate you for it.
  19. I guess it's easier to claim "you'll never go again while that man is in charge" when you are 4-0 down at HT at Exeter than when you have only lost 2 in 12.
  20. I think the replies from our more technically minded posters confirm what I was saying, we have gone from what looked a reasonably organised defence at set pieces to players standing around aimlessly and unsure of their individual task. I can see why the players have to take some of the blame, if they are not supposed to be so deep then no one is taking responsibility to remind everyone of where they should be. My question is, if they are not changing things is that because the coaches are telling them to defend that deep?
