  1. Well tell them that not being behind clubs who cheated is a good thing. They were getting an unfair advantage and got caught, that's not luck that's the rules.
  2. I would be amazed if they get in the play offs, although Port Vale play Mansfield on Tuesday, that isn't one of their gamea in habd as the Gas are playing Owura Edwards Colvhester as well L
  3. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/competitions/championship/12564605/blackburn-0-1-bristol-city What was Mowbray complaining about at the end?
  4. Definitely an interesting last 40 overs in store.
  5. Here are the highlights, nice goal and accurate assist. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12564531/Scunthorpe-1-3-colchester-league-two-highlights ColU's number 6 looks an interesting player too.
  6. You have a great catchment area to be fair with no real rivalry, there are a lot of clubs with smaller scope ahead of you in the league structure. Getting some sort of additional investment is a must but shouldn't be out of your reach. I think the ground should stay where it is too, not a great deal of room for expansion, but you don't want an out of town soulless bowl like Reading. You have greater potential than a second Bristol club in my opinion.
  7. As I said in the match day thread, he has been carry injuries for several weeks, so a drop in form is understandable. His pace gets him (and us) out of a lot of trouble, but sometimes we seem to reliant on that.
  8. Belt and braces eh Tom? If any of the three bottom clubs hit the form required to overtake us and Hull and Reading get a few points, then they will deserve to stay up. I will put my neck on the line here and say we were safe even before todays results. We look at the table after 46 games to see if I was right.
  9. he also got the assist for their 3rd.
  10. I am not an expert but he wasn't looking at the player and looked to be trying to pull his head away from the challenge. Turned over now, no point watching a match that will just be a one sided slaughter now.
  11. A clean sheet and a last minute goal for us? Well **** me in Carlsberg did away days.
  12. Maybe, but at least there are options now. England could have just carried on getting batting practice and then everyone would have gone home at Tea.
  13. 286 in two sessions. Could be interesting at least.
  14. oooh I don't know, let's ask @Robbored.
  15. I understand that he has been carrying some bone bruising injuries for a few matches.
  16. Leach got the ball to turn in the first couple of overs and then it stopped, maybe a bit of wear and tear might help. But using the spinners could also mean a 5-6 run rate, we are running at 5 over the last 20 overs so it's not impossible. Getting to a 300 lead would take probably 20 overs out of the game, the n the change of innings may leave 65 to get 300? Oh and well done Joe Root.....

  18. Can you declare on this featherbed? Set a target of 300 in 60 overs maybe?

  20. I am worried, wars and religions have been founded on less than this. Personally I am going to wait until Donald Trump makes his statement and then go with the opposite.
  21. Not here, the French look one of the best sides I have seen in years, I can't believe the Welsh are hanging on their coat tails. looking for a 2nd half onslaught.
  22. I was in a pub earlier and all they seemed to have was old games. I looked up at the screen and saw Dan Bentley coming out the tunnel playing for Brentford. They drew 2-2 with QPR and he conceded goals from Matt Smith (poor error) and Luke Freeman! Then they showed a Celtic Rangers game from 1998. I have never had Sky so it's no skin off my nose, but their subscription must be losing value pretty much everyday.
  23. Perhaps you would like to make a note of that for the next time you wonder how many England openers have scored a century since Cook.
