Agreed, it wasn't a clear and obvious error so should not have been overturned, the match of the day team were totally in the wrong in the way they castigated the officials and it showed they didn't know the rule. I thought he effectively shut down the threat from the highly rated Davis, he looked strong, assured and his passing both short and long was good. To be honest, every time I have seen him he looks a player, so his performance yesterday was no surprise.

I think we saw today that no matter how good they are, playing an 18 and 20 year old as your main midfield players, week in week out and often 3 times a week, eventually takes its toll. It will be good to rotate them and for them to having that bit of extra experience around on the pitch will help them a lot.
