Tanner is seriously good. I knew he was good but I did not think he had in him what he did for our third goal today. Breaking away with pace down the touch line, and the technique and vision to place that ball exactly onto the onrushing Bell’s foot from 30 odd yards away was breathtaking. I was more impressed with that assist than the finish! Such intelligence and skill whenever I see him play which I think often goes unnoticed by some, and plays aggressively and in the right way. I think he could be a real cult hero, and I can see why NP likes him.

Exactly this. When you consider his status in the team now after the emergence of Pring, he is probably on about 3x what we would want someone in that role to be on. Is he going to accept something less than half of his current salary? I am doubtful.
