There was 8 mins added on. Ipswich were by far the better team from about the 79th min onwards.
That makes a whole 19 minutes then out of 100, for the rest of the game we were better or at least their equal, you must be a right laugh at a party

We were always going to be better against a team like Ipswich than we’ve been in the last three games. Surely everyone knew that? Surely everyone who watches us play knew that?
It’s a nonsense to suggest ‘oh if only we’d played like that in the last three games’. We can’t play like that because the opposition let us have the ball. And when the opposition let us have the ball we play crap football at walking pace 70 yards away from the opposition’s goal.
This utterly small time reaction that we should be somehow over the moon with last night is stunning. This wasn’t a plucky non league team getting beat at Man City or Liverpool in the third round.
We were fine for 70 minutes, we could have got something out the game. We didn’t, we lost, and let’s be honest it could just as easily have been a couple more in the last few minutes. It’s four defeats on the bounce, it’s 9 points in 13.
Celebrating because we weren’t atrocious and didn’t get thrashed at Ipswich. Was this the aim when we sacked Nigel Pearson?
I doubt if anyone is celebrating in fact I expect the majority is gutted we lost but most of us recognise a good performance when we see one

Come on people, irrespective of people’s opinion on Manning/NP no one can deny that was a very good performance last night, as a rule when playing away against a top two club we barely raise a glove

Why couldn’t Manning get the players up for the three precedent games ?
Maybe for the same reason NP couldn’t get the players up for many games ?

We gave them a really good game in the second half. I imagine most Ipswich fans would say that was one of the tougher games they've had all season
Absolutely, we played Luton away around about this time last season when they were also second, now that was a dogs dinner of a performance

I think you do them a disservice, the sum of the parts is much much more than a league one squad, as much as it pains me to say it. I’d say that Leeds and Ipswich have been the 2 best teams at AG this season. It might be league one recruited players but they do have a thing going for them. Reminds me a bit Cotterill’s promotion team, they just know how to win and have huge belief that they will regardless.
It was a crazy comment, a league one squad who couldn’t even win league 1 last year !!!!

That’s a whole different debate which I cannot be arsed with tonight, but just to say they are a league 1 squad with a few key additions. It’s not an excuse.
They’re certainly not a league 1 squad now, I bet Leeds and Southampton wish they were, they’re heading for 100 points at the rate they’re going

Hurts but it’s currently very much deserved. They’ve changed the game and should’ve won 4/2 from 1/2 down. And they’ve turned games around consistently with superb game management and man management…….
It helps when you can bring on the type of quality subs that they have

Over the 100 minutes they deserved to win. They missed a pen and had another 2-3 great chances to score.
You don’t judge a whole game on the last ten minutes, of course we are going to come under pressure away from home against the team second in the league and unbeaten at home for six month’s, overall I thought we deserved a draw at least, we made Ipswich look very ordinary for the vast majority of the game

Would have made sense to get Roberts on. Maybe to match them up . Pring into LCB and Robert WB .
Something should have been done , not just watch Cam get torn a new one.Robert’s was poor on Sunday, it’s just as likely that Burns would of given him the same treatment imagine the reaction on here then

Ok, but for balance are you giving him any credit for the starting team, the Conway substitution etc?
You got no chance, he’d rather stick a red hot poker up his arse

We deserved a draw up until their changes but after that they throughly deserved the win.
Over the 90 we deserved a draw but there’s a reason why they are second in the league and above Leeds and Southampton

You had another left sided defender in Roberts who could have replaced Pring or gone in front of him to plug the side that we were getting absolutely shafted down.
To do literally nothing after McKenna brought on 3-4 attackers seems pretty incomprehensible. Especially after 2-2 and a penalty being missed both from attacks coming down that left side.
It would of been mad to take Pring off, Burns in that form is a handful for anyone, oh to have the riches Ipswich have in attack and that’s with Broadbent and Hurst being injured

Very Bristol City, forwards finally turn up to the defence loses it! We very rarely concede three but we scored two, so guess we had to
Is it the first time we’ve conceded three all season ?

Playing well against a team who haven’t lost at home for six months, let’s keep it up

Wells should of been gone two years ago, he’ll score tonight

Its advisory. The advised number of headers is five in a session once a month. Don't tell the parents!!
Its a point that football may be evolving - Wingers. Guardiola is doing something unique.
Aspects are possible in teams without world class players. Prioritise what is valued.
Wingers by nature can be very inconsistent, a winger for us wouldn't last half a season with the AG fan base

Can only imagine that a couple of 100 have done 9 away games

Southgate will probably find a space on the bench for him in the Summer.
Fair enough, Southgate has got to squeeze Henderson & Philips in somehow

Unbelievable stats for Martin, by far the best goals per games/minutes record, it doesn’t say much for the other strikers in the division
Based on the last 12 games Bristol City are in 23rd place in the Championship
