So hypothetical situation if the league does get delayed for a few weeks, anyone have any ideas on whether the start of the next season would be pushed back a bit?
The virus could still be around next winter so they will try and finish this season without crowds then see how things are in August

I thought the search was only called off due to the adverse weather conditions?
But would say as it was Sala's side that were privately funding this latest search, maybe more to it than the weather?
Exactly, the official search was called off a week or so ago the latest search was being run by Sala's family so they've achieved their objective, you wouldn't expect them to look for the pilot

I really don't get dropping Kelly. Being the best player for 2 games surely means he keeps his place. Paterson not a wide man, and generally been average in that position. Plus Pato struggles to play 2 games in a few days, so why not keep Kelly in with Bryan left mid, and if he feels he needs a bit more creativity at home then start Pato on Monday. I personally would play Kelly and Bryan in both.
Holden said having played 2 games for England this week as well as our last 2 league games he could do with a rest, whereas JB is fresh

rgobenz Post subject: What a thoroughly horrible club.

Location: PLYMOUTHWhat a thoroughly horrible club Bristol Rovers are, no-one likes loosing and the banter is part of the game. But when you have grown men and women trying to break the cordon, to fight Argyle fans just because they are losing, damn Neanderthals!
I hope they get a large fine and a few score banning orders, you can stick your GAS where the sun don't shine you horrible lot.

Please come to the realisation that we ain’t finishing in the top 6!!
Isn't that a bit pessimistic when we're in the top 6 already? We're due for a run of wins like we've done a couple of times already this season, the teams below us are nothing special.

Once Bakes is back clean sheets will return. No need to panic we're still 6t

It's important that we get something out of tonight's game to get our league form back on track. Also to prevent the losing streak becoming a "thing" that affects the confidence of players and fans. A draw would be a decent result.
Being away might suit us to an extent. Apart from the Aston Villa game, our away form has been excellent. We struggle more when teams get players behind the ball, which presumably Derby as the home team will be unlikely to do.
Looking at their forum they are likely to concede possession and try and catch us on the break even though they're at home

Frankie must be gutted, having missed the United game he's now going to miss Man City as well

I'm showing my age here but Utd might not score again tonight as Tony Currie isn't even on the bench.
I'm trying to think of Sheffield United 'greats' and can only come up with Tony.
As far as players that have played for both clubs, I'm even more stuck. Diego De Girolamo is all I can come up with. There must be other players?
I remember going to Bramall Lane in a 3rd round FA Cup tie in 1975 and Tony Currie scoring a classic free kick from long range in their 2-0 win over us (I think they were Div 1 at the time), anyone else remember that game?

Gas fans unimpressed by recent interview with Wael where he outlines the planned ground improvements at the Mem:
We are having a new shop and toilets.Defo ready for the Championship now.
He also says he can't give a timescale for the job as it is "such a lot of work"

I feel that we should win this one but then the last person to score for us there was Leroy Lita , our record against them is appalling.

Looking at Wednesday's forum there's more pressure on them to beat us following Blades win last night moving them to top. If we could just get a good start the knives could be out for the Wednesday boss.

Agree re Magnússon. Looked like a boy in a mans match. He made a decent tackle on their winger before their goal, but then didn't finish the job off by putting it out of play. Made the wrong decision more often than not
I think some people on here being unfair to Magners:
a) He wasn't being played in his best position (CB)
b) He's hardly had any game time recently
c) His long throws gave them problems all afternoon and created the winning goal for Flinty
For me he did OK

Bakes will be off Vyner on I reckon, Mags back to CB. We can win this

So Bakes back after all. Hope he's ok

LJ said something about Pisano not really being fit to play more than 45 minutes on Tuesday so I expect he's just being cautious. Last thing we need is for his injury to be further aggravated. Good man to have on the bench for sure; in fact, that entire bench looks nice and strong.
Wright's on international duty for 2 weeks in November so he's got to make sure Pisano is available then so he's not going to rush him back and risk injury, he won't care so much if Wright picks up a knock

Frustrating to say the least.
Burton having drawn their last two away 0-0 sound well organised and we seem to be getting frustrated. Clearly dominating possession and chances, but really need that spark, bit of magic, luck, whatever to break them down. Elements of Millwall/Bolton so far.
No lost 4-0 in last away

I would say we're stubborn away from home . We don't look fragile at all.
Last season I agree but this one the lads have ' grown up ' and we manage games so much better.
We don't crumble against the home pressure . We aren't so ' gung ho ' but we are coming away with points and gaining more and more confidence with each performance.
We were definitely fragile at Brentford and to a lesser extent at Birmingham and Wolves but got some points because we can also score
-
I think we're still a bit fragile away from AG, will be more than happy with a point

All it comes down to is finding the money for the project.
If only they had an owner who was part of a family that founded a massive Investment Bank and may have an idea of how to access the funds required to realise the project. Ah well!
I get the impression that the family gave Wael (the youngest son) Bristol Rovers as a toy to play with to keep him clear of their bank. Not sure the rest of the family have any interest in BRFC so the bank connection doesn't count for much.

I read that season ticket holders may have access to a live stream of EFL games if they're played behind closed doors probably so clubs don't feel obliged to offer a refund
