Weird standard terracing can be left for 25 years or more when some stadiums had to put seats in virtually overnight as it was too dangerous for people to stand.

Can't see us doing anything in T20 anyway , can you Phant ?
Agree @BobBobSuperBob, stand to be corrected, but not the best of signings we could of brought it

There was an interview in a free magazine that was handed out around Ashton Gate a few months back - he said in it, he hasn't retired from any white ball cricket, the club have chosen not to pick him. The worst part, he said he only found out about this when the club were handing out the kit at the photo day last season.
At Edgbaston last season in the semi, we were struggling for a batsman in the line up - it would have been ideal for him
To me he is the perfect batsman for white ball cricket

Decent enough player I suppose, will he not have champions trophy duty later in the season or are group matches all done by then?
Unusually for a Somerset signing he's available for the whole tournament. Yes champions trophy finished by then

Well from what I can see the only former Somerset players who are currently in the IPL are Gayle, Anderson and Pollard...
Now announced, Corey Anderson

Australia Twenty20 international bowler Andrew Tye will miss this summer's T20 Blast competition for Gloucestershire because of a shoulder injury.
The 30-year-old suffered the injury while playing for the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League in April.

Not a great day at the office. Glos have done us a favour in beating Sussex tho!
Disappointing run chase yesterday - throwing away cheap wickets has cost us two home games on the bounce now
Looks like we are going to have to do this the hard way - Sadly can't see Kent get anything against Essex

Interesting he says signed and not played? or am I reading too much into that!
Was told the only reason Somerset have not announced it yet was in case he got injured - as he has a habit of doing!

How did you get on against Hants ?
Didn't even come a close second - in a funny way it may be a good thing to get a hiding at this stage as I would rather get it out of the way now than in a knock out game
Crazy opening batting AGAIN, and poor running between the wicket cost us yesterday - nobody got a ton to bail us out this week

Also, they continue to celebrate 2nd May with complete disregard of the other 2nd of May (Basement Rovers Day). They should be saying Happy 2nd May 1990, but when they leave off the date then we are happy to celebrate 2nd May with them! Congratulations Wycombe!
I was at cricket on the 2nd May (last week) and a Rovers fan I know was mumbling on about the date and trying to take the piss about it
He seemed to have some kind of mental block about Wycombe

What a result! I never thought we`d chase that down - Treeeeeeego!
Never in doubt, 350 at Taunton is nothing special and only once did the run rate go over 8 an over. Two hard but in the end ultimately comfortable home victories on the trot, now for the Welsh

Another great days cricket, sadly the extended bank holiday means I'm not interested in working tomorrow.

What a great game yesterday, bloody freezing but well worth it. Like our first 50 over game last year (against Gloucester) we pulled that victory out of nowhere.
Onto Sussex tomorrow now who we destroyed preseason so fingers crossed
