Was in Crantock the other week on the beach and lunch outside in the Bowgie Inn (or Bogie Inn as my son calls it). Lovely.
The Bowgie Inn, the stuff of legends in the late 80's early 90's with it's club.
Great memories of Friday nights in the club there

The Rame generally is a bit of a hidden gem, there`s some lovely places down there but most folk just get off the ferry at Torpoint and head for the tourist traps like Looe. If they turned left instead of right they`d enjoy it so much more.
Spent my childhood holidays in various chalets across the cliffs at Whitsand Bay, my parents were offered one in the late 70's for £150, that's on the market now for £500k
Also difficult to understand that part of Kingsand and Cawsand used to be in Devon, they don't like being reminded of that

It is but try getting any work done in the place this time of year! I pretty much refuse to visit unless the customer can do before 7am!
See also Looe, Polperro, Fowey, Polruan, Padstow and many others.
I've altered that for you
Those last 2 are secret and no one should know about them

Well that was a frustrating day, it was sunny everywhere around the south west it seems…..bar Taunton. It never got heavier than a few annoying spots or light drizzle but rarely stopped all day.
A difficult game next week at Essex then we wait until September when we play all our rivals, two of which, Glos and Warwickshire are in a lot worse form than we are. Our points total from this game wasn’t bad and once we’ve played our game in hand over Warwickshire, Kent and Gloucester we’ll see then where we are.
As another has mentioned, the future of county cricket as we know it is up in the air, the problems caused by creating, promoting and funding the 100 are becoming all too real
I was at the Kings Festival yesterday, you can see the floodlights from there, we had rain, but it blew through quickly and didn't stop play!!

Ah, you may be correct.
He was chatting with the female commentator, and I wasn’t really paying attention as I was writing something and only listening in the background.
Who is she, by the way.
Knowledgeable and seems good fun.

Did you manage to get there for the start after your umpiring?
Yes, both teams knew what was happening, they couldn't do an early start,
At 5:30 we made them aware we were leaving in 2 overs time, 2nd to last ball of that 2nd over the last wicket fell!!

Just to clear things up a bit
Plymouth 250,700
Wakefield 333,564
Salford 219,200
Cathedral city of Wakefield is @95k, that is the metropolitan borough of Wakefield which is made up of different towns.

Any idea where to have a beer pre game, know the area but can't say the pubs are too appealing near by.
10 min walk up Milehouse Rd will take you into Stoke village, several pubs within 3min walk of each other plus a social club, in case you're wondering i lived in Stoke for almost 30yrs

Dont wear any colours as they wont let you in, its called the Brit.
You can walk to Stoke village in about 20mins from the station, if you take a slight de-tour there'll be a few on the way or get a bus outside the station that will take to Milehouse
