Assume that you are umpiring somewhere before?
I know you can get the last train back to Weston
I have heard that parking at the station is actually a good shout, otherwise by the time you get there you will be struggling
I'm umpiring in Taunton so i'll have my car but the last train back is 21:40, game is starting at 7, I don't think realistically I can get that train unless game finishes early and i want to stay and see it all

Trains aren't any good for Taunton on Saturday, can anyone who drives recommend somewhere to park and i can't get into Taunton until 6:15-30 at the earliest, due to cricket on Saturday

I'm not a world expert on cricket, I haven't seen an Indian touring team since 86(?) at Taunton.
Kohli is a qrick not a patch on Gavaskar back then. I was sat among some Indian fans today, most of the players took tie to acknowledge them but Kohli? no that was below him.

Well i just got back from Edgbaston, left at 6:15 go to the ground a 8:45 a fantastic session of cricket watching probably England's greatest batsman and someone not far behind him.
And Kohli is an arrogant qrick

This weekend, if you fancy a nice not so sunny day out this weekend.
And as a side note if you're parking on the beach or seafront, legally you don't have to pay, though the council like you to think you have to

I would have thought by now, there are a "chosen few and "trusted" persons who would know the EFL fixtures that will be announced at 09:00am on Thursday
I think the media get the opening days fixtures some time today(Wednesday) so that they can conduct the interviews and then they can play the interviews at 09:00am on Thursday.
So two things
1) Who would you like on the first day,it should be away as we will be away two weeks later
I WOULD LIKE SUNDERLAND AWAY ON THE FIRST DAY,
SECOND CHOICE NORWICH MIDDLESBROUGH OR HULL,just hope none of the four teams mentioned will NOT be played on a mid week date
2) Would YOU actually know the fixture lists?
answers BEFORE 08:00am on Thursday morning
They've been all over facey for the past week

Got a feeling Hildreth will retire end of this season, he's been in gradual decline.
Few others likely to move on too I think - Brooks, Waller, MDL. So maybe quite an overhaul this winter.
He is and has been planning for a couple years, he has a job lined up.

2 great catches last night, haven't seen any footage of the G**s catch, it was the other side of the ground from me, this was just to left of me last night and was special

And Rest in Peace also the 649 Argentinians who lost their lives so needlessly, too.
I've visited both memorials, in Stanley and Buenos Aires and travelled extensively through Argentina 25-30yrs ago, every single Argentine i met then agreed we did the right thing and said the Junta was wrong. I never met one person who thought they were in the right and we were in the wrong.
Fast forward to the past 10yrs children in schools are being indoctrinated, you wouldn't believe the 5hit they put on social media, they are absolutely convinced they sunk HMS Invincible and we secretly sailed a replacement south and pretended it never happened.
Unfortunately my respect for them went out the window several years ago.

No weekend cricket at Somerset until at the earliest April next year. Shocking.
