Philly and the Bungles for the SB.
Useless fact of the day, Stetson Bennett, Georgia QB who won the National Championship is older than both starting QB's in the NFC Championship game.

It must be a tough place to run a high tech project though. If you were in a city centre it would feel all business and focussed on the job at hand, every detail counts. Take it down to Cornwall and it probably feels like 'whatever, maybe I will correct that dodgy wiring tomorrow, let's get down to the beach for some fresh air and chill out, who has the beer?'
They did well to get the 747 off the ground if you ask me.
The new setup, so it should be fine next time.
And as a side note at one point it wasn't as backward as it is now the US used to routinely store nuclear weapons there, back in the day it was a good place to watch as you'd got odd planes in, P3 Orions, Mirages, F4's, F1-11's, A6's E6's, I've got a good mate who's family farm sits right at the bottom of the runway, his dad was a massive Concorde fan and had a few Concorde seats, during the annual airshow he'd get them out and we'd sit in them in the garden watching the show

Cornwall doesn't have a good record with space in the 21st century, the attempt for the highest balloon ascent into the edge of space ended in failure.
More pasties needed.

The NFL is a law unto itself when it comes to weather getting in the way of a game. They tend to simply wait until the field is cleared and the stadium open again - whenever that happens. Even if it's the small hours.
Still, it brings home the flavour of play-off football into sharp focus.
Remember the Fog Bowl?
I remember watching it, how that carried on is anyones guess

It seems to be an NFL tradition, although it's also prominent with the NBA too. America is a very diverse lot, with the approach to Christmas equally so, and there is a game or two played on Thanksgiving Day for example. Unusually, a lot of games are taking place on Christmas Eve this season - save a few on the day itself.
Still, it beats watching some dreary old film on the other channels.
3 games on Thanksgiving now, it was 2, it was always the Cowboys and Lions playing at home, I've done a few Thanksgiving games in Detroit in the old Silverdome, my first sticks out as I ended up in a box which was next to the Ford family's box.

Former Steelers RB Franco Harris passed away yesterday.
I got lucky at SB40 I was sat in a block full of Steelers fans, and the blocks around us were Steelers fans as well, pre game every SB MVP was introduced, when he came out the our block and the blocks around us went mental, never seen or heard anything like it anywhere.
That play

Some might argue that penalties count more than 'goals' that didn't cross the line
I'll think you'll find VAR said it was a good goal

Just to put things into perspective, not my words BTW
Ben Stokes has had a night out, been arrested, cleared of affray, served an ECB ban, won an ODI World Cup, played one of the great Test innings, won a T20 World Cup, become Test captain, & retired from ODIs in the time between Moeen Ali's last two ODI scores of fifty or more
