  1. Such an impressive performance, and given the context it’s perhaps the best result of the season… We were playing a team bang in form, scoring goals for fun, our side is injury hit, out of form and have struggled for goals… Then we had a very shaky start and found ourselves a goal down. To come back and not only get the three points, but dominate the game is very pleasing.
  2. Why don’t you put a few quid on us being relegated then? I’m sure you’ll get very decent odds.
  3. Another two minutes on the pitch for Semenyo.
  4. I can’t see past QPR now for that third relegation spot. They have the worst goal difference, are in the worst form and have the hardest run in. Could be an interesting last day at Loftus Road! We’re safe as houses and it’s silly to think otherwise… if we were a few points worse off though, it would definitely be a worry with our run in and injuries. I’m glad we picked up all those points in Jan and Feb.
  5. Bournemouth really need to go. A stain on the top flight of English football with their awful ground and fanbase. Southampton and Everton to join them please. I’ve got no interest in seeing Leeds or Forest again and I think the others have enough about them to stay up.
  6. They don’t lose very often do they, but when they do, they get truly smashed.
  7. Argyle really dislike us, and would never wish us well. I’d prefer them to stay down to be honest, but as a team they’ve been remarkably consistent and you can’t argue that they’d deserve it if they finish the job.
  8. Rubbish from City. So so wasteful against utterly dreadful opposition.
  9. I guess we could use Portsmouth as an example… would you swap our recent history with them? Premier League, FA cup winners, good run in Europe but then league 2 and very nearly bankruptcy. For me it’s all about the rollercoaster ride of supporting a club so I would probably swap that for our last decade or so as a mediocre championship club. I can see why some wouldn’t though. As for Yeovil? I don’t really have any sympathy for them to be honest. They were spoiled rotten for years with all those promotions and cup runs. Now they’re experiencing the coming around part. I believe they are about to be taken over, so I’m sure they can look forward to better times.
  10. …. Plus you’ve got posters fighting with each other.
  11. It doesn’t take much for things to turn toxic on here.
  12. You beat me to it. I was just about to post that I’d put my money on a 0-0 draw. They will surely be cagey after two successive 4-0 losses. With our injuries and their poor form, neither team will have the quality to break the other down.
  13. I can’t understand this way of thinking at all. I took an Asian friend of mine to a game against Reading once and a group of their fans gave him racist abuse and threatened us… I paid no attention to the team they supported, they were just racist scumbags pure and simple. I don’t go around saying how their fans are racist and that I much prefer Oxford. It’s completely irrational and the sign of a rather low IQ to be honest.
  14. The war of the roses was Yorkshire vs Lancashire right? Both clubs are part of Lancashire… not saying you’re wrong, just confused! Anyway, how I laughed. After their Carling Cup win last week, all the plastic “Man Yoo” fans from my social media, most of whom I went to school with were out in force after several years of deafening silence. Back into their holes they go.
  15. I’ve had you on ignore for ages, but you quoted me.
  16. Funny. You are on this forum all day, every day and probably have three times as many posts as the second highest poster, yet you still manage to contribute absolutely nothing. Your posts consist of nothing but pointless one liners, contrived sound bites and score updates that nobody asked for. Maybe you should find something better to do with all your excess time?
  17. Can’t believe we’re losing to this pile of crap.
  18. Got it, thanks. And if we lose, does our unbeaten run end?
  19. I might be imagining this but I think I remember somebody posting those figures last season… From what I remember, you can typically deduct a couple of thousand from the official attendance on saturdays. More during August and midweek.
  20. We’ve endured 3 years of utter garbage at this club. Over the last few weeks, it’s really started to feel that we are emerging from the woods. We have a cohesive unit, a good blend of experience and youth, a definitive style of play and in Alex Scott, one of the most promising talents we’ve ever seen at this club. It’s taken a while for Nigel to start making things work but finally we are seeing the fruits of his success and tonight we can see how far we’ve come… on another day, Bell would have connected to that cross, made it 1-1 and then who knows! The key now is to not let this be another false dawn. We need to build on this good run and not make the same old mistakes with recruitment that we’ve always done in the past.
  21. A shame we couldn’t keep the score down to 1 or 2. Most of the nation will look at the score line and assume it was a comfortable evening for Man City when that was far from the case. If Bell connected to that cross……
