  1. Can definitely see another frustrating draw, possibly with a late equaliser for them. I’m more confident of us putting in a better performance at Leicester, as crazy as that sounds.
  2. Only got ourselves to blame if we end up empty handed. Should have killed it off in the first half.
  3. Right so it’s been postponed. I honestly don’t have the time or interest to keep up to date with their fixture information so thanks for the corrections.
  4. Prepare for them to start crowing and creaming themselves over the big following they will probably take to Reading on Saturday (their first trip there in over 22 years).
  5. They’ve been flooding a championship Facebook page, telling everyone we were formed in 1982. They must have taken a wrong turn somewhere…
  6. I’m grateful for the foundations he’s put in place. The stadium rebuild, the massive increase in attendances, the non match day income and the academy setup. We’re now a very attractive proposition for buyers. This club is crying out for success, and I think many of us feel that fresh ideas and new investment are needed.
  7. I’d like to see new owners at BCFC. That doesn’t mean I’m going to throw my toys out of the pram and demand SL sells up because we lost a second round Carling Cup tie. Jesus H Christ…..
  8. We’ll always have that little 4-5 month spell in 2017-18 where we looked like world beaters. Genuinely the best football I’ve ever seen us play and oddly, it came during a time where we had lots of injuries and LJ was forced into playing a settled team. Once he had options, and was able to sign players, he started overcomplicating things and we fell to pieces. Then along came Ashton and his awful recruitment process. There’s a good manager in there somewhere, his stubbornness means we’ll probably never see it though.
  9. Four games so far. Impressive twice on the road. Utter garbage at home.
  10. Whether it’s city or England… I’m so so sick and tired of watching other people celebrate.
  11. @Hot Air You’re an embarrassment, honestly.
  12. Whenever a new sag registers, this thread exploded into utter chaos. Always amusing.
  13. A few of us here in Shanghai are contemplating it…. It’s not as far as traveling from the UK but would still be the craziest, most spontaneous thing I’ve ever done. A once in a lifetime opportunity to watch a World Cup final.
  14. There are still a few people out there who refuse to embrace women’s football. After seeing that beauty of a game, they are certainly missing out. The England girls were fantastic. Professional, collected, clinical and defended as a unit. Very proud of them and I’m as excited for Sunday as I would be for any big game!
  15. And that just now, reminds me of something Adriano Basso did. Can’t remember the opposition, but circa 2006.
  16. We lose our best player We’re sad to see him go We wish him all the best He could have done much better than (insert club name here) We shouldn’t stand in his way if he wants to play at a higher level. If he doesn’t want to play for us, let him go. Lets invest the money well Cliched sound bites we’ve heard countless times before, and will do again. Across the world, it’s probably been said thousands of times during this transfer window this year. It’s part of football, surely we’re all used to it? All I’m thinking about is Millwall tomorrow. I’m excited about hopefully seeing what Roberts can do. Got a great feeling about him. Maybe we’ll be having this conversation again in a few months when he goes to Bournemouth? Life always goes on… Talent comes, talent goes… Enjoy them whilst they’re here.
  17. We all knew Scott would be leaving us this summer. It’s a shame it’s to such a tin pot non entity of a club, but we really need to put that aside now and focus on developing the assets that we do have.
  18. I think it’s pretty much a given isn’t it, that a young City team will struggle tonight against a strong looking league 1 side. I’ve still got nightmares of Lincoln last year. Surely we’ve got to do better than that?
  19. I never expected that he’d still be our player at this point. Now there’s hope that we might keep him. I hate hope. ?
  20. Business is business I guess, but I can’t be the only one depressed that we’ve basically become a feeder club for a bankrolled outfit no bigger than Gillingham or Wycombe? I think we all had much higher hopes for Alex than this, but hopefully he gets his big move one day, rather than disappearing into a black hole in their little matchbox of a ground.
